Another great hotel from the Marriott group. We expected to have fun in Montreal, but the city really deteriorated. After a few hours of walking around the center, we realized we wouldn't want to be in the city the next day. It was thus great to be in such a good hotel. The pool was good, and so were our room and the restaurant.
The only complaint I have is the price of the valet parking.

Excellent location
The room was large and laid out well. We had excellent sleep in a completely blacked-out, quiet room with comfortable beds and pillows. Air conditioning worked well, bathroom was well-ventilated and didn't get steamy from the shower. I appreciated the lighted magnifying mirror, as well. Staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating, and housekeeping replenished bottled water and coffee daily. We appreciated small touches like body lotion and aromatherapy oil for better sleep. Location was excellent, near Vieux-Montréal.

Great hotel in a great location. If you walk out the front door, you are 1 block from the Notre Dame Basilica. We parked our car when we arrived and never had to move it. After long days of walking around Montreal, we LOVED coming back to use the pools. None of them were very big, but they served their purpose. We especially loved the cold plunge pool. We stayed here at the beginning of our vacation, and every hotel after that our kids talked about how the pool didn't stack up because it didn't have a cold plunge. The sauna was also an added plus.
We arrived late at night, and the valet didn't even offer to help take our bags out of the car. I thought that was a little strange for a Westin.
