The hotel is beautiful and very historic. From stars to presidents all have stayed there. Our room was quite large with two queen size beds and a separate space with a desk for whatever. The whole hotel was a thing of beauty and although we didn't see any we were told that there have been sightings of the super natural.
Location is good. Hotel itself has a bar/restaurant and the size of the room is decent
The shower was disgusting and filled with another persons hair! And my daughter and I were trapped in their elevator for over 20 min in between floors and no one even apologized ! I was less than impressed
It’s a gorgeous hotel with lovely staff. The room was huge and the beds comfortable. Even with all of that, I had the worst night’s sleep because our room is above the 24 hour fitness center. All night long loud clanging and banging noises. It’s wild to me that they put people in these rooms! Whatever you do, make sure you aren’t in room 312!
I liked how big the room was
It was dirty. Stains all over the walls. Someone else’s dirty close were behind the couch from the prior people who stayed there.
Parking was easy and available. Staff was friendly and no waiting for anything.
No bar for evening cocktails.
Ac stopped working in the middle of the night.
Diamond member, stayed here both in December 2025 & January 2026. Both stays were free with points, both times erroneous charges appeared on my credit card statements. Phone calls to the hotel corrected them, but it was an unnecessary hassle.
Hotel is clean & comfortable. Restaurant hours don't match the website - we ended up checking out and departing early without breakfast on our second stay because the restaurant wasn't going to open (on a weekday) until "about 9 O'clock" said the front desk clerk (web site indicates 6:30 AM).
Will likely look elsewhere for our next stay in Utica...
Love the history of this beautiful hotel! The location was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
Location is excellent for the area. Pretty entrance. Nicely appointed rooms.
No breakfast on Christmas morning. Fully understand, but the site should have been updated that due to the holiday, breakfast was not provided.
Close to event
Nothing
Hotel is clean and comfortable nothing all that great but was fine. Elevators are tiny and slow. Asked front desk for an ATM and they told me to go down the road to one?? Simple amenities are lacking for the price of the hotel.
Would stay again due to its location to and my son playing hockey at arena next door.
The staff was very friendly
The couch in the room was dirty as were also stains on the linen
It’s history, location. Old photos in the gorgeous lobby. We had a corner room & the view at night was really nice!
Both queen beds sagged. I appreciate there was a restaurant on site but a $12 bowl of oatmeal?
Convenient to train station, Historic hotel with nice lobby and history.
