The aesthetics were great!
The tranquility gave us the perfect place for rest and reset.
Water wasn’t hot. And we visited when it was cold.
The property and our room. Also, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I might not come back for the food, but I will come back to support the staff.
The food was disappointing. Our one order for lunch on the terrace was chicken wings which were cold and undercooked. Generally the presentation of the food was excellent, but the food was disappointing. Also, I do get irritated by restaurants thinking that it is fair to charge R395 for a bottle of wine that costs R165 - at Woolworths.
Facilities, friendly and resourceful staff.
Absolutely nothing.
Beatiful situated, good service, good food
The place needs a major refurbishment and is currently trading on past reputation. Vastly overpriced based on current condition.
Battled to get through via phone and then calls were dropped when being transferred. This happened on numerous occasions.
Breakfast was amazing on the days we had the buffet, which was when there were more guests,
So was the dinner menu/ buffet options, Portions are great
Views were amazing,
Staff very friendly,
Hospitality 10/10
The service rendered by staff in the dining hall.Their approach, smile and respect.
All is good.
The breakfast buffet is outstanding, the Spa was a 5 star experience, the room was magnificent, spacious and all that you need was there. Ofentse our Golfcart driver and Maxwell, the security guard when you check in was the best, they know what friendly good customer service is!
The food at the a la cart restaurant was terrible, ordered the recommendation of Kingklip, and it looked like a calamari steak, i could not cut through it with a knife. Chef Pieter at least came to apologize and offer an alternative.
Loved the accommodation. Service was excellent. Spa treatments were excellent. The electric blanket was wonderful. The coffee selection, welcome platter and sparkling wine was wonderful. Hairdryer and guest amenities were also great! The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were lovely. The safe, gown and slippers were also a great idea.
Not sure if doors can be left open with monkeys, luckily it was cold. A few points to look at: the fireplace could not be operated from inside, you have to go outside to switch it off, unless it's a safety precaution. The bedside lamp did not work, the two point plug didn't make good contact and the phone beeped every hour. Maybe the blanket can be upgraded to a fluffy light blanket. Workers can be a bit noisy if one wants to sleep in.
The service was amazing. A special thanks to Gift , Sam and Mbali.
Bathrooms should have extractor fans.
Breakfast was perfect, set up,atmosphere and variety delicious also, compliments to the chef
