Room was very dated! The bath was dangerous getting in and out! Windows rattled, no spare toilet roll and very cold

Great location! The staff are exceptional, very helpful and friendly - especially Alfie in the dining room! The public areas were very comfortable too.
There wasn't much to dislike, really! I had a couple of issues when we arrived (too trivial to even mention!) but they were resolved immediately!
We voelen ons hier helemaal thuis. We houden van dit landelijke hotel, de kamer, de inrichting, ... Dit is echt ons ding. We zijn je erg dankbaar hiervoor.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful

Stairs
The location right on the front of Tankerton beach is excellent.
The multiple staircases make it very difficult for those with limited mobility. But there is a rather unique lift that takes you to the first floor staircases.
View, breakfast, parking, staff
Room was a little tired but had everything needed
Magnificent location, great free parking and a beautiful breakfast area.
The shower wasn’t the best but was fine.
Very helpful staff. Lovely sea view room. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. Loved the outdoor terrace for drinks. Excellent breakfast.
Our evening meal in the restaurant was disappointing. However breakfast was excellent.
The bedroom was lovely - has a cute seaside vibe. The staff were amazing in particular the lady at breakfast witht he egg brooch - she was so friendly and warm and couldnt have been more helpful. The hotel was a beautiful walk away from Whitstable with the most lovely beach out the front door
The hallway carpet - it didnt offend me but prob needs a bit of a new carpet.
Great stay, staff friendly food freshly cooked and tasty.
Great position overlooking sea
Too many dogs!!
Well maintained and clean appearance. Nice light bright eating area. Seating areas outside front and back
Toilet in room 28 too low. Having difficulties with knees health issues and found getting on and off very difficult could do with hand rail to assist. Side of bath very high could do with another hand rail at end of bath to help get in and out
It's a review of two halves, our room (14) a disabled room was very large , comfortable including bed and clean. On the other side .
Disappointed with food, unappitising , ie the bacon, mushrooms, , had 2 evening meals, very basic. Have to say that the staff at breakfast were very friendly and informative. A very pleasant stay, apart from last night when disturbed by workmen outside our window working at 11.30 pm , no prior warning or notice given. Room to hot even with air-conditioning and toiletries very bleak.
The Marine is in a great location if you like sea views and walks along the prom. We walked down in to Whitstable which was about a mile downhill. We got a bus back! The bar and restaurant area were very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. On first appearance our Superior Sea view room was excellent however look a little more closely and it needed a lick of paint but that did not spoil our stay.
There are areas of the hotel that need refurbishing. The seating area in the reception where the chairs were a little tired and the bedroom furniture needed a bit of paint and re grouting in the bathroom.
