Lovely boutique hotel. Friendly helpful staff, thank you
Pros:

small size of hotel.

Cons:

I am sad to say that both me and my friend noticed unpleasant smell (unhygienic smell somewhere in the breakfast area/tables. Its the kind of smell where surfaces have not been wiped with clean cloths. Very off-putting for a dining area. Sorry to have to say it but I offer it so that you can improve it for other guests. Easily rectified!

A nice classy place to stay while seeing Edinburgh
Pros:

Brilliant location and the hotel felt a little special once inside.

Cons:

The only reason to have a little moan was the AC in our suite was noisy even when turned off.

Highly recommend
Pros:

We were treated to a very warm welcome from Paul who went above and beyond to look after us when we arrived at the hotel early after travelling to Edinburgh on the Caledonian Sleeper.
He gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit which didn’t disappoint. We stayed in the Thierry Lombard suite which has been newly renovated and was excellent value for money. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious and the service was first class.
All the staff were more than happy to help and made us feel at home.
We look forward to returning to Edinburgh soon and will definitely be booking Hotel Du Vin.
Thank you for a wonderful stay.
