Wonderful location , clean
No air con in rooms
Some rooms have superb views over the tidal estuary.
Not a dislike but a note for EV drivers; Although the hotel has a charging point it, it only has 13A 3 pin or 16A CEE Commando sockets so you'll need your granny charger. Bulk charging points in the public car park just 50yds away
The breakfast was excellent
The room was shabby. If this was a hostel for 50 quid a night then OK but it cost £160 or more. The room was in serious need of redecorating.
Excellent
Great location
Friendly and comfortable. Good food.
Nothing.
Very nice location, nice comfy room, good shower, nice breakfast.
Car park hard to find, could directions not be put on Booking.com page?
Breakfast good but a bit slow in delivery.
Could do with a fridge in the room.
Great setting , great staff.
.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. What made it special for us was the staff. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful, they couldn't do enough to help. The food was also excellent with a nice balanced choice both at breakfast and in the evening. We would be very happy to stay at the Pennington if the future and hope that we do before too long.
There was nothing that we disliked about the hotel.
Great service. Exceptionally clean. Lovely bar area
Needs a lick of paint everywhere to just make it a bit nicer.
Defo the nicest property to stay in, in the rural village of Ravenglass.
If any negative, could probably do with an air-con upgrade to the rooms, something that you wouldn’t of even thought about in Britain, but the ever increasing heatwaves over the last 2 years including this week made the rooms too hot, and with no air-con it did spoil the hotel stay.
It was such a lovely modern yet traditional clean place, friendly staff. Perfect location. Breakfast superb
Nothing
Interior decor and facilities, modern and bright.
Outside of the building needed attention
Breakfast was plentiful though slightly overcooked on first morning.Second morning excellent.
Staff worked extremely hard to make sure we had everything we needed.
The dining experience each evening was a very pleasant time.
Windows were slightly hard to open when weather was warm outside.
Couldn’t work the shower. (Instructions please ?)
The location, the friendly staff and the building.
All was fine
Location was perfect for our purposes- very comfortable bed - good breakfast and dinner - friendly staff
Nothing
Amazing find in Ravenglass, great base to explore the West coast of the Lake District that nobody goes to
Very good value for both accommodation, food and drink
Amazing helpful staff
Cannot think of a single thing

Room was roasting! Reception brought a fan but it was very toasty.
