DO NOT STAY HERE
Pros:

Pool not working, unadvertised prior to booking. Front desk staff (girl with strawberrry blonde hair) horribly rude, unhelpful and disrespectful to our entire group (10 families) Don't go with a group, you will not be allowed to sit together and visit in the lobby.

Excellent nearby weekend getaway
Pros:

My boyfriend and I loved our stay. We wanted a close to home weekend getaway with a pool, and this fit the bill perfectly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was downright luxurious and I was tempted to steal the pillows(but refrained). Breakfast was included but we slept too late to enjoy it. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. There are lots of food options nearby,to utilize in person or have delivered. Lots of shopping nearby as well.

Cons:

My boyfriend is hard of hearing. The TV has a volume cap so he had a hard time hearing it.

NEVER AGAIN! Rude staff ! Wish we had booked anywhere else !!
Pros:

Arrived to a sign at front desk saying pool was closed. This was NOT posted on their website. When confronted they said it was and it was not. We were told if we’d like a refund we could go somewhere else. It was IHSA state basketball weekend and hotels are booked! Signs posted no alcohol in lobby and no groups. Group of less than 10 in breakfast area were told we had to leave. We were able to go hang out at a hotel next door. Back to the pool situation it said the water heater was broken. When asked said pool might be fixed in summer ? It was empty

Pros:

Surprised Disappointment
Pros:

We would have given a higher rating, except for a couple of neglected items.
The first item may be small, but it illustrates the feeling we were left with. We were charged $2 for a "Safe Fee", that we were never informed about. It just appeared on the e-bill. What's next? A "Hair Dryer Fee"?
The second item was more of a disappointment. We were not informed that the Swimming Pool was shutdown. I wish companies would make it mandatory that, as guests ARE BOOKING, they be informed that the Swimming Pool is not Heated, Shutdown, or Compromised is any other way. Families pay a lot for simple pleasures and should be afforded the opportunity to decide who deserves a chance to earn our loyalty and our hard earned money.
The breakfast was very well done and the room was clean.
