Improved service at breakfast would make a huge improvement.
Pros:

Rooms are dated but comfortable and clean. Ideal location to Folkstone for the Shuttle. Safe car parking on site.

Cons:

Breakfast service was very slow and should be improved, had to make them aware I was there and waiting after about 15 mins. It was not busy we were the first down to breakfast.

Guter Pub mit gutem Essen im Haus. Im Pub sehr freundliches Personal. Kaffee, Wasser usw. Kekse auf dem Zimmer. Ruhig, sehr gute Lage zur Fähre. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten.

Cons:

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels aber gut. Wir fanden es etwas zu teuer.

Couldn't find any thing wrong apart from TV not working in the room,, but wasnt a problem .

Pros:

L’emplacement est très bien pour visiter le Kent, tout est à moins d’une heure de voiture.
Le parking est grand mais il peut être un peu difficile de se garer le soir s’il y a du monde dans la partie restaurant.
Le personnel est très aimable, la chambre est grande et propre.
L’hôtel a du charme.
Les petits-déjeuners (buffet + carte) sont très copieux et bon. Choix entre continental et complet britannique.
Le restaurant le soir est bon sans plus.

Cons:

Je n’ai pas mis la note maximale car pendant notre séjour (4 jours), il y avait un problème de pression d’eau, à certains moments, en particulier au moment de prendre sa douche, l’eau ne coulait presque pas, voire pas du tout. Cela aurait dû être résolu au deuxième jour mais ça n’a pas été le cas. On attend un geste commercial de la direction.
Le premier jour également la chambre n’a pas été faite bien que nous n’avions pas mis le panneau (on était un dimanche, est-ce qu’il n’y pas pas de ménage le dimanche ?). Le lendemain elle a été faite mais la porte de la chambre n’a pas été verrouillée, n’importe qui aurait pu rentrer.

would have been good apart from water problems
Pros:

staff were very good and nothing was a problem

Cons:

there was no water in the showers in 3 of the 4 rooms we booked very poor and surely a pre requisite for a hotel room
revisited again on our return from Europe and the same problem was still there .... very poor
