De locatie is prachtig gelegen met een geweldige tuin. Fijne bar en bij aankomst werd alles netjes geregeld. Fijne bedden en alles schoon!
Het enige minpuntje was de douche, op onze laatste dag hebben we niet kunnen douchen omdat er geen water uit de kraan kwam.
The room i was in (23) was part of a new block i think. Everything is clean fresh and new. Lovely!
The walls are really thin. I could hear the people in the next room just talking in normal voices. And when the person upstairs got up at 6, he wasn't being particularly noisy but there was no way i could sleep. Just him walking around was so loud in my room.
Just 20 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and located on a roundabout, so easy to find, clean, very comfortable rooms, well decorated with excellent beds.
Food was tasty and good value, but all the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Lauren and Sophie in the bar/restaurant area.
Very dog friendly with plenty of outside space for them too.
The only minus points were that the price was just a bit too high, although it was a Bank Holiday Monday and the shower was lovely and hot but didn't have very much pressure.
Otherwise, everything was good 👍.
We have stayed at this hotel twice now while travelling too and from Spain. It is in an ideal location for the Eurotunnel. The hotel is clean and tidy with lovely rooms. Staff are very friendly and the food is good. The downside is that I barely slept on both occasions, we had a downstairs room and the creaking from the floor above is absolutely unbearable. People are arriving at all hours and leaving very early to get to Le shuttle. Would have loved to try breakfast but on the first occasion breakfast didn't start till 7.30 and we had to be at the tunnel for 7.45 and on a weekend breakfast doesn't start until 8 and as we'd been awake since 5 because of the noise from above we decided it wasn't worth waiting and just set off home. I think 7 would be an acceptable time to start breakfast.
Friendly staff. Big family room. Breakfast was good. Nice coffee. Downstairs a great pub, with possibilities to have lunch and dinner. Surrounding is great. Possibility for parking !
Not so much, it was nice. Price was a bit above average , but we also got above average.
Excellent location for travelling to Le Shuttle. Room are spacious and clean. Staff friendly.
Can be quite noisy - creaky floorboards so every step was heard from the people in the room above.
Great stay for two bikers the night before the Eurotunnel the next morning. Sophie the night porter was waiting for us even at 10pm and made sure we had everything we needed. Cute little room. Would stay again.
