Good pub, comfy beds and plenty of parking
Pros:

Staff are always very helpful

Cons:

Who's the genius that decided on a slippery floor in the new dog friendly rooms? Hope they're well insured. And the same genius could have thought of a family dog friendly room as there's plenty of space. Instead they've opted for a looong writing desk. I'm sure, one day, there'll be some important literature coming out of the Conningbrook.

Exceptional Clean
Pros:

Lovely large room with a huge bed. Able to eat there as also a pub, ideal for our overnight stay. No extra charge for parking and exceptional clean.

Cons:

Would of liked the use of a hot drinks machine at breakfast. Lighting in room was very bright or too dark

Pros:

Not a great selection of working on the road.

Breakfast starts at 7 so I missed that due to work, restaurant closes at 9 so also missed that. Not the best.

I had to go and find reception staff to check in, no one in reception at check out.

Rooms are nice and clean

Cons:

Operating hours of restaurant and bar

Pros:

My third two-night visit to Conningbrook in the last two months, and it remains an excellent place to stay. Each of the three rooms I have stayed in have been excellent - spacious, clean, well-appointed, and very quiet.

I had a nice view of the gardens this time (room 48).

Cooked breakfasts are consistently great, and the large car park, fast stable WiFi, lots of power points, and desk for working provide good convenience for my work trips.

There's a nice country park/lake about 10 minutes walk away which I was able to enjoy now that the weather is improving.

Staff are professional, friendly, and efficient.

No doubt I will be back again in a few weeks.

Cons:

Nothing
