Breakfast didn’t start until 7.30am which was too late for me as I had an early appointment.

Pros:

What a lovely place to stay. . Near motorway, large car park as webhad a trailer in our travels. The staff were absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly which means alot after a long drive. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a restaurant and we enjoyed a lovely meal and a couple of drink. The staff were so nice. Thank you and we will be back

Helemaal prima, zou er zo weer boeken

Goede bedden, prima locatie vlakbij de tunnel, echte Engelse pub met pub grub. Echt prima, ik zou zo weer boeken voor een nachtje

Would definitely stay again but if on a Sunday get there before 7

Great facilities, parking, staff

Cons:

Stop serving ANY food at 8pm Sunday- not even sandwiches, plus no crisps or nuts.

Room good, restaurant poor.
Pros:

The room was spacious and attractively decorated.

Cons:

The evening meal was not good. Because of the location we were restricted in the choice of somewhere to eat. The restaurant had a restricted menu - several dishes were not availalbe. The pasta dish with vegetables I had was very poor - claggy cold pasta. I just picked out the vegetables!

Ruhige Lage, schöner Biergarten.

Cons:

Frühstück gab es erst ab 7.30 Uhr.
Musste jedoch bereits 7.30 Uhr weg, sodass ich das Frühstücksangebot nicht nutzen konnte

Friendly and intimate stopover for Channel Tunnel.
Pros:

Lovely intimate pub location.
Staff were great, food was excellent.
Rooms were well furnished and clean.
Large car park.
Good location for access to the Channel Tunnel, just 15-20 mins away.
I would definitely use this place again.

Pros:

The warm welcome from reception. The radio playing softly and bedside lights on for my arrival. The excellent breakfast and cheerful courteous staff. The characterful hotel itself. Plenty of free parking.

Cons:

Pretty much nothing to comment on. They had fun out of fish for the evening meal which was disappointing.
