Location and staff were very good
There was clearly a water supply issue , number of guests were complaining . It was resolved, just bad luck I would say . I did not complain as you had it in hand
The room was exceptional
Although we were offered the breakfast menu, we went for the buffet. There was an excellent selection of cereal, fruit, toast and other items, including juices which we had before the buffet. However, the buffet breakfast was not that great, but not the worse cooked breakfast we've had. Maybe in the future just offer the cooked breakfast menu and do away with the buffet?
A perfect location for an overnight stay before catching Le Shuttle. The room was perfectly fine but the highlight were the staff who were exceptional.
For a hotel within 20 minutes of Le Shuttle it was disappointing that breakfast did not start until 0730. That being said the staff accommodated our request for an earlier continental breakfast which was greatly appreciated.
Room was smart and clean, had everything we needed for an overnight stay. En-suite shower room was very clean and modern, excellent.
Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of choice. Staff helpful and friendly.
Nothing
We stayed for a very short overnight stay just before catching an early ferry from Dover. The hotel is very well located for this and we made it to Dover within 25 mins of leaving. The hotel staff were wonderful, welcoming and friendly and the room was spacious, clean and well-stocked with everything you need for a short stay.
The only downside, and this is expected in such an old building, was that the walls and floors are very thin so you can hear a lot of noise coming from outside and the bar itself.
Perfect location for an early departure on the Shuttle. Lovely old building, nice outdoor area, very spacious room, comfortable bed, terrific shower. The staff were also very pleasant.
The reception desk was not always manned.

10.5 tog duvets for the summer! Should have a flat sheet and blanket option left in the wardrobe
Didn’t like the fact that the reception wasn’t manned so not very welcoming and didn’t feel that secure in the property as the front door was left wide open until late at night, not appropriate if reception is not manned
La camera era spaziosa con un bagno generoso e vasca ad angolo. Possibilità di parcheggiare dentro la struttura che comprende anche un ristorante, da poter usufruire anche come beer garden.
Struttura un po' vetusta con moquette praticamente dappertutto. La vasca aveva la tenda e il lavandino è ancora con i due rubinetti con acqua fredda e calda.
Per noi era perfetto non facciamo sempre la colazione perché partiamo troppo presto ma nelle occasioni che abbiamo fatto era buonissima e a noi piace tanto le offerte di te caffè e cioccolata che c’è in camera

Ideal location for the Channel Tunnel.
There was a problem with the plumbing. No water in the evening in our room (including other rooms) emergency plumber was called and water was restored by the morning.
