We were visiting knock so chose the hotel because of the location and we all were amazed at standar.
Pros:

The food was excellent evening meals etc.breakfast top class no faults at all and staff very polite n courteous.

Cons:

The only fault I could think of was a fridge in the room but that’s just a thing for me as I have medical issues but I had my own mini fridge. Other couldn’t fault anything about the hotel .

Pros:

Being celiac myself, I don't eat out. I did order eggs and received 2 perfect boiled eggs to my liking. I bring my own bread and was satisfied with the breakfast. My husband got his usual breakfast and it was perfect.

Cons:

Next time I book I will look for a room beside the lift. For pensioners with health issues that would be a great help. Apart from the long walk to our room everything else was perfect.

Pros:

Great location and excellent facilities. The room was clean and comfortable, and the reception staff were very helpful, friendly, and welcoming.

Cons:

Breakfast was extremely disappointing. It appeared that the restaurant was seriously understaffed, with the team clearly under a great deal of pressure. Tables were not being cleared or cleaned properly, which created an unpleasant and unhygienic environment.

When I asked one staff member to clean our table, he simply wiped the crumbs and food onto the floor. He then left the existing cutlery and cups on the table rather than replacing them with clean ones.

The staff were very young and appeared to be under-trained and overwhelmed by the situation. While I appreciate that they seemed to be doing their best under difficult circumstances, the overall standard of service at breakfast was very poor and needs significant improvement.

A few days break away in Mayo
Pros:

The hotel is in an ideal location for where I wanted to go. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to base themselves there for exploring the lovely county of mayo.

Cons:

My room it had a shower over the bath now I would have preferred a walk in shower it would have been easier for me and room was a bit dated. I felt it was still the same since my first visit there in 2010 & ive been going there every year since bar maybe 1 or 2 years that I couldn't get it.
