Very poor food service in the bar area although the food was good. Nice swimming pool with a lane sectioned off to enable a decent swim. Bathroom needs a good clean. Bed very uncomfortable.

Good food. Great service. Comfortable room. Easy parking. Will stay again.

Lovely spacious, clean hotel. We ordered dinner at the bar and the food was exceptional.

The room was a good size, clean, comfortable and pretty modern.
The breakfast was good and not expensive.
The staff were friendly, prompt etc. - all good there.
Our room was round the back, with a great view of a full skip. It also backed onto the function room. There was a wedding on and there was (understandably) a lot of noise. We had to leave the window closed which wasn’t ideal.
Early a.m. there were deliveries etc - unavoidable I suppose but woke us about 5:30am.
Leisure facilities - we used the pool, hot tub and steam room. It’s decent enough but all needs an refresh. Changing facilities just ok. No more.
We went to bar for a snack and one drink after the pool. Quite a few people in relaxing quietly. There was a group of what I’d say were traveller folk making a lot of noise - hard drinking, taking the place over and being a nuisance - very hard to relax. Something should have been said to them by management - people were trying to eat and relax over a couple of drinks - but nothing was said - in fact I don’t think there was too much management in evidence - possibly keeping the head down.
Another note. There are permanent residents at the hotel - they keep a low profile and all seems fine. But just noting it.

Only stayed for one night for business. wish it could have been more. First class and will definitely stay again when in the area

Went for a weekend away with my wife the hotel itself was great and the staff very good and helpful the only real negative i have was the restaurant menu

Accommodation

Excellent All Around for me and my Fiancée

Hotel was fine, only issue was that WiFi kept dropping. I had to cancel a work call as I was unable to continue due to WiFi, it was ok when it worked but kept dropping randomly.

Property has potential but a bit outdated. Upgrades can be made and still keep charm of building. Also wasn’t able to get our control issue fixed or get details regarding laundry service.

Lovely comfortable beds. Very helpful and friendly staff. Dinner was very good.

Lovely hotel with great staff. The rooms are very comfortable with lovely decor and The Handmade Soap Company toiletries are fabulous. Great breakfast and good dinners served in the restaurant. Great location, handy for Knock airport, Knock Shrine, Ballintubber Abbey and good road networks.
