Sahara Sunset

Loved the spacious apartment, nice and modern and good proximity to pool. Pity we had lots of cockroach visitors & would of liked fresh towels every other day.

The hotel was close to the beach and it also had a good pool and spa the nights where quiet and relaxing having a supermarket was also a good idea and the ping pong table was also fun for everybody. The staff and the reception where nice to and finally the help for the luggage was really useful

Long wait at the on site restaurant after ordering breakfast. And it really wasn't busy. Weird arrangement of going up one floor across and down one floor. Hard with luggage as one leg had no lift.
The room had excellent AC but we didn't like to run it overnight. When my partner asked for an extra sheet or cover for the bed they said they had none. How strange.
Telephone and one wall socket were both without power on arrival. After we reported it both were fixed. The kitchen in the apartment was excellent with fridge freezer micro and washing machine. One of the best. Apart from maybe the bright orange counters. Like an " easyJet" kitchen. ;-)
Room was roomy. Huge queen size sofa bed although we didn't use it.
Lots of evidence of being as "Eco" as possible.
Items in the onsite gift shop were very cheap.
A short walk from the beach.
We paid wun seexty fyfe per night for two in early June. No breakfast. Seems a lot to me but it's probably about right.
Would I go again. Maybe. But wanted to try the Benalmádena Beach hotel close by ( about £30 a night cheaper ) but it was full.
I'll try other places before saying I'll come back.

Second time we have stayed and will definitely be back.

Fab stay, huge appartment, everything you could want for self catering was in the apartment.

Pros:
The customer service was above par. The apartment was nicely furnished with a great balcony containing loungers and a patio table and chairs, communal pool, onsite store, onsite restaurant and a miniputt.
Cons:There are no Elevators and quite a lot of stairs. Even to access the apartments on the main floor there are three small flights of stairs so quite difficult to carry luggage to the second and third floors, especially for the seniors.
There is a daily surcharge of 2 euros per person for a pool towel which can be costly for families and a daily surcharge of 5 euros per person for the indoor pool.
Overall, I quite enjoyed our stay at the Sahara Sunset.

Appréciation globale : excellente à tous points de vue. Notre emplacement, la qualité de l’ameublement, tout ce qu’il faut pour la cuisine, propreté des lieux (intérieur et extérieur), personnel souriant et chaleureux. Nous avions un appartement de deux chambres.

We have stayed here on numerous occasions, and each time we arrive we remember why. The rooms are well equipped, with a clear drive towards recycling and sustainability. The hotel staff could not be more friendly, and the hotel facilities are great, with indoor and outdoor pool amongst the main attractions. There is lots to in the surrounding area, with numerous great restaurants and bars on the doorstep. A fantastic place to stay.

Great location, excellent facilities and very clean. Staff are so friendly and helpful, stayed twice before and will definitely be back.

Our stay was exceptionally good! From the emails regarding our requests, our airport transportation, check ins, the rooms, the staff, the locations, tours, etc. Our children thanked us for the enjoyment and memories we shared together. Thanks Sahara Sunset Resort for our 2024 Family Vacation!

Having srayed at the Sarah Sunset numerous times, this visit we were placed in a block of apartments outside of the main complex. Although a good size apartment the location wasnt great. The view out of our bedroom window was an area with broken furniture and sofas. Wasnt the best. Shame as the staff are good and the restaurant is great.

Fantastic location, easy access to beach and to restaurants and bars.
Nice and quiet pool area, could always get a sun lounger.
Would definitely stay again.

Have had over 20 years of consistently excellent stays at Sahara Sunset with both family and friends groups.
All staff are wonderfully welcoming and accommodating and during my current trip I have received nothing but excellent support and assistance from all concerned at Sahara Sunset (special mention for Caroline on
Reception) where my elderly father has been hospitalised here in Benalmadena.
Nothing but the highest praise which is fully deserved. I will continue to come back here several times every year whilst I am able !!
