Pros:

The hotel is perfectly located and although there is limited parking at the front there is a pay and display CP along the road.
The hotel has a good atmosphere with polite friendly staff.
Our room was clean and spacious and the shower was good. The bed was comfortable but the duvet was a heavy winter one and we were quite hot and had to open the window and turn off the heating.
The breakfast was very good with options for cereal/fresh fruit/croissants and fruit juice. The cooked breakfast was tasty.
We also had an evening meal which was very good and excellent value and the waiter was professional and attentive.
We would certainly return here, and there is plenty to see in Sandwich.

Cons:

The bedroom was very warm and the duvet was heavy. Only one window partially opened.

Perfect
Pros:

The Bell is a lovely hotel with a spacious entrance and bar area. They have kept the old features and not tried to over modernise it into a grey cube.
Breakfast was great and nothing was too much trouble for any of the team.
We asked for an early check in and the were most helpful.

Hotel trop cher.
Pros:

Le petit déjeuner était bien.

Cons:

La salle de bain était démodée et l'entretien n'était pas fait, les lumières qui ne marchent pas, un robinet qui n'était pas sécurisé, le radiateur pas fixé au mur.
Le dîner n'était pas bon, poulet pad thai immangeable.
Le service était très long.

Tired needs renovating ASAP
Pros:

Breakfast was OK and the member of staff serving was very pleasant

Cons:

Visited last year and no difference looking very tired, room not particular clean or bathroom and shower had mould on the mastic.

Absolutely superb.
Pros:

Lovely room - such value for money. We got upgraded for our anniversary. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, all staff happy and helpful.

Classic country hotel with lovely staff
Pros:

Great location and the staff were lovely, especially the night porter who greeted us warmly when we arrived in the early hours of the morning!

Cons:

Our room (35) could use a refresh. There were a lot of stains, peeling paint, loose taps, and draughty window. Not sure if we just got the worst/old-style room but we were expecting something a bit more modern.
