Travelodge by Wyndham Montgomery East

Arrived after hours had a prison like window to check in. Room 116 was very old look like something fell thru ceiling. The door lock to room was definitely tampered with. I WAS WORRIED IT COULD BE PUSHED OPEN. The bed was so old when you sat down slid to middle of bed. Bathroom door had screws across bottom of door holding it together. At morning check out a lady took key and said nothing through a inside version of prison glass . I booked hotel while driving it had 5 star review. Lies. If employees are scared and behind glass its definitely not safe. Have a sore neck today this hotel will ruin a car trip!

Toilet ses needed to replaced, sink drainage was very poor and slow.

No hot water, tv remote kept falling apart

Good hotel. Front desk staff was nice. Quick and efficient check in process. The rooms are outdoors but nice interiors. Bed was comfortables and pillows were soft but firm. Hot water in the bathroom and heater was working when I stayed which was a must because it was freezing outside.

This budget hotel worked out for us because it was 1) inexpensive, 2) easily accessible to the highway, 3) quiet and 4) brightly lit in the parking lot. Check in and out went quickly.

Unfortunately our room had many maintenance issues. The swing bar lock on the door was almost unscrewed and didn’t provide protection. The bed frame had been bent and had metal you could trip on. The bath vent cover was missing. The fridge was partially pulled out and might fall over. Food was left in fridge by prior guests. 1/2 inch gap under exterior door. Probably more but we arrived tired and departed early the next day.

The room was very outdated, the door had a gap to the parking lot made me feel like bugs can just come in. There were mosquitoes in the room and a cockroach that went into the cracks.

Could use some work. Definitely a budget hotel but the room was doable. Was able to get a good sleep for the night. The bathroom needs to be updated but the water was hot which was refreshing after staying in the hotel nearby which didn’t have hot water. Lobby was small but staff was quick and nice.

Great place for the night. Was right off the interstate after a long drive. The staff was super nice and helpful upon check in. We stopped here because they allowed pets and we were travelling with our cat. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

Owner was rude and unreasonable when I told them the room was clean and a snail on crawling on my bed. I also found weed in the room

Just average. Very small bathroom.

Overall okay- needs some maintenance (both outside and in) but was clean and friendly- location not a safe one but I do believe that is Montgomery AL in general.

The staff was top rate. Very comfortable beds. The tub was large & deep!
Very, very clean.
The location was good. Lots of shopping & places to eat were near this Travelodge. It's located on a side road, which helps keep traffic noise down.
Elec Outlets were on opposite side of room from beds. You may want to bring long extension cords and maybe some brown tape to tape them to the floor so that they don't pose a tripping hazard. The freezer compartment of the refrigerator didn't get cold enough to freeze ice, but the refrigerator did get cool.

The beds were nice and comfortable. The room was clean. Outside needs some work but overall a great place to spend the night based on the price—lots of closeby restaurants. The staff was friendly. Will stay again next time I am in town.

Dirty

Looks like a scene out of a bad tv drama like NCIS...Horrible accommodating. Forgot a parcel in the room. No help in getting it returned. Just a runaround form both the hotel, UPS and FED Ex. Representative was rude when explaining situation. No food. Bad location. Dirty room. Non-smoking room still smelled like smoke. Had to wipe down all the tables. The door latch was offset, as if it had been broken into before. Not safe at all. What a mistake. Do not stay here with your family.

Great staff- rooms decent- beds comfy, priced high for what you get-

This hotel should be referred to the Ghetto Inn. If you stay here you are subjecting yourself to unnecessary harassment. The room wasn't clean and neither we're the towels. They will knock on your door at 08:30 and wake you up. They won't assist you in getting a taxi or Uber. The only amenity they provide is a bed and a shower. Avoid this place if you can.

On this property, they have a really bad infestation of roaches. The room in general was not clean. There was so much dirt on the doors and just throughout the room on the floor. I checked out early from this room because a baby roach hair crawled on my back, I asked for my money back and they said no refunds. It was horrible. They were drugs and questionable people outside. I would never stay at a hotel like this ever again in my life. This Wyndham property needs to be shut down.

This place is filthy dirty, outdated and when I expressed my concerns to the not very nice man at the desk, he still charged me for one night!! The lobby was closed down, u could see thru the glass it was dirty and gross. The little entrance where you check in was filthy, trash on floor and in the case where brochures are supposed to go. The man at desk didn't care and basically said too bad, I'm charioting you for a night stay!! Do not stay here, it's awful
