Als je in Medan moet zijn, boek dan hier!
Pros:

Beste hotel in Medan, schoon, mooi, luxe en geweldige service!! De executive lounge voor een borrel en een hapje. (Je kan noemen met lounge acces) Mijn man moest werken in de nacht en het personeel ging above and beyond on dat mogelijk te maken. Uitstekende service!!
Ook heel fijn dat er recht tegenover het hotel een grote mall zit.

Cons:

Alles was uitstekend. Maar als ik dan toch 1 minpuntje moet benoemen is het dat ze mensen in hun pyjama toelaten bij het ontbijt buffet. Vind ik persoonlijk niet zo fris en een beetje raar bij een 5 sterren hotel.
Maar dat is ook alles. Verder was het geweldig.

Public areas were too warm, bathtub didn't drain, walking outside nearly impossible with broken or non-existent sidewalks and stinking drainage ditches.

Perfect stay for my birthday.
Pros:

The staff is very friendly and they decorated my room for my birthday. The room is spacious, clean, and got the best view of Medan ever. Please remember to book a massage with their spa, I fall asleep XD

Amazing Stay
Pros:

JW Marriott Medan is an excellent hotel and easily one of the best places to stay in the city. The buffet was very delicious, with a wide variety of high-quality food and great presentation.

The staff was consistently friendly, professional, and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. Everything is well organized, from check-in to dining and daily service.

Overall, a top-class hotel in Medan with great food, great service, and a high standard throughout. Highly recommended!

Pros:

J W Marriott in Medan is a fabulous place to stay....I stayed there on two occasions in January of this year,2026.It was a most enjoyable experience.My room on each occasion was very large and super clean.It was serviced daily.The staff were super friendly and helpful and in this regard I want to mention Shanty,Jean and Welly at reception,Gibran,Moan and Denny in the lounge,Marsya at the cafe,Hambali,Andika,Edelwin and Rajif at breakfast and Rita also....The hotel is very conveniently located adjacent to Jalan Ahmed Yani and close to many of the attractions,cafes and restaurants nearby...This hotel offers a range of dining options...I dined at the lounge on a number of occasions and prices were very reasonable...Breakfast each morning was superb...This hotel is definitely worth returning to and I am happy to give it 10 out of 10...top marks.

Pros:

We truly enjoyed the delicious breakfast! The staff were all friendly and attentive, especially Mr. Andi, who thoughtfully introduced us to a variety of local food and drinks. We would also like to thank Mr Andi and Ms. Sally from the Executive Lounge for their warm hospitality and assistance throughout our stay.

Cons:

The room and pool could use some upgrades to enhance guests' comfort and overall experience.
