We won’t be back. I thought SpringHill Suites was a nice place to stay but have changed my mind given this experience

Carpets were damp/wet in our room. Shower leaker terribly defective shower door seal design leaked water everywhere had to use most of our towels to mop up the floor. We let staff know they gave us more towels

Excellent staff who made the stay amazing

I loved the staff! My girls love stitch and the guy checking us in could do a perfect stitch voice.

I couldn't get the jacuzzi tub to work; immediately someone came to help.

Yall have an amazing group of employees

The breakfast and care put into it. Top tier

I read reviews about bugs; not true at all. The only bug we saw was outside dead.

Never again.

There were multiple options for breakfast and the pool was great. It wasn’t too busy.

I got in town early so I asked for an early check-in. The woman at the front desk said it depended on availability so one room was ready and the other room still had a wait time to check in. The lady at the front desk checked me in for the first room but she charged the card Booking.com provided twice so when it came time to check into the second room, the card kept declining so a woman I assume to be manager of the hotel joins her at the front desk and proceeds to tell me that there is an issue with me checking into the second room and instead of telling me that she messed up on their end I had to do the runaround in my email looking for confirmation numbers when I knew the rooms were paid for all while this is happening I’m sitting in the lobby with my guest and all of our luggage. When I first got there, it didn’t help that there was a drunk woman chatting with the woman behind the front desk with a glass in her hand.

Family Reunion Stay
Pros:

My family reunion is in New Bern every year and we book off room at the Springhill Suites. Very new atmosphere and location. Very close to food and stores. The breakfast in the morning makes it very convenient especially with children. We will continue to book here every year.
