Great location and hotel in North Charleston! My kids loved how large the rooms are and the separate sitting area. A microwave would've been nice but there's one in the lobby if needed.
I stayed at this Hyatt and I’ll give them this much: the place looked great. Clean room, tidy halls — housekeeping deserves a raise and maybe some cookies.
But the service? Oh boy. The staff were sweet, friendly, and trying their best… but it was painfully obvious they’d been tossed onto the job like, “Good luck, champ.” When it came to federal laws about service animals, they knew as much as a goldfish knows about quantum physics. And honestly, that’s not on them — that’s on management.
I was told my service dog couldn’t accompany me in certain areas, which was wild because that’s absolutely not how the law works. Everyone kept repeating the same nonsense rules because “management told them to.” So basically the whole team was confidently passing around wrong info like they were trading Pokémon cards.
If Hyatt wants to keep this place running right, they need leadership that actually trains their staff — not management playing Telephone with federal law. Clean hotel, but the lack of proper oversight was louder than my morning alarm.
Would I stay again? Maybe… after management levels up their whole operation. Because oh did I mention that I was charged double spent $300 on by the time it was all said and done one interrogation night

I experienced great customer service. The operations manager Ellery Valerie was delightful to speak with. She was very informative and was polite. The hotel overall was nice and my room was clean. The water was not as hot as expected but other than that it was fine for the night I stayed there.
Extremely disappointed in the front desk It was no one there they were training one guy when they finally did show up they double charged us for one room and now a refusing to refund us saying we actually had two rooms which we didn't so I would assume the new guy double charged us and every time we went down to the front desk no one was there very disappointed in the hotel
There was something seriously wrong with staffing. I arrived at 2:30 to check in and waited for two hours in a line of people to get checked in. They mentioned having trouble with housekeeping andb getting times cleaned. While one person worked the desk, two were in the office eatting for an hour. I finally got checked and got to my room by 4:30 pm. I was supposed to be at a work event by 4 pm. When I got into my room it was a mess! It has not been cleaned at all. Dirty dishes in the sink, no toilet paper. Not at all what I expected for Hyatt. When I got back from my work event, the room was clean and breakfast in the morning was nice, however, I could not find anyone at the desk desire trying 3 times to talk to them about the previous day's issues. I have pictures of you would like them but someone needs to check up on this location. I plan to travel to Charleston again but am hesitant to book at this hotel.
Overall, our stay was excellent. There were two minor problems; one elevator was out of operation and the bathroom vent fan in our room, made a rumbling noise. The room was clean, the staff professsional and friendly, the breakfast menu was varied and delicious. The atmosphere was family and business friendly.
Hotel itself is not that bad. But the employees are either not trained, or overworked or just bad and should not to work in the hospitality industry. Stayed here for a couple of times and all the front desk team are just mean ladies with horrible attitude
We have been here since 230. So have the 10 people in front of us. The women working seem more interested in collecting their DoorDash orders than working. Finally a gentleman shows up at 3 and starts with the first person in line. Not impressed and won’t be staying at any Hyatt place at anytime ever again.

I stayed at this hotel from 10/3/25 to 10/4/25 in Room 124. I went to bed around 10 PM, but at midnight, my fiancé woke me up—there were bed bugs crawling on me. When we checked the bed, it was clearly infested. Absolutely horrifying.
We rushed to the lobby to speak with the front desk. The woman working, Beverly, was completely unapologetic and initially told us there were no available rooms since the hotel was sold out. After some time, she finally gave us a different room (Room 500), but after what happened, we were too afraid to sleep the rest of the night.
The new room wasn’t much better—dirty sheets with other people's hair underneath, stains on the cover sheet, and just an overall disgusting environment.
By the time I woke up, I had more than 10 bed bug bites. I’ve never had such a terrible experience in a hotel before. This place is filthy, poorly managed, and clearly not taking cleanliness or pest control seriously. You think you are staying at a Hyatt? this place doesn't even deserve to have a Hyatt name attached to it. As a loyal World of Hyatt member. this is extremely unacceptable. You are better to go next door to a Hilton.
Avoid this hotel at all costs.
Everything was great. Only thing was pool was cold but the kids didn’t care so we were all good!
The staff was amazing and attentive. The guy at the front desk suggested that I buy some cookies and I was not disappointed.
Very roomy and comfortable new couch. Bed was great also. Clean property. Breakfast was also good.

I asked for room service to clean our room the house keeper did not come and clean it not once the whole stay very upset asked for clean towels and rags had to keep going to front desk for that the housekeepers were rude and the area was not a good area so I was not very pleased with this hotel and the walls are thin I could here the washing and dryer going
Breakfast was fabulous!! Price was great, loved the king room with large sleeper sofa couch and coffee table. A great room to relax in. Would definitely stay here again!!
