Room was large and bed comfortable.
The shuttle driver in the morning was exceptional!
Our plane was late and arrived after midnight. Our flight was supposed to be there before midnight and our layover was I had researched to find out how to arrange a shuttle and the recording said to go to “trackmyshuttle.com” and put in a code. This webpage said it was a 24-hour shuttle, but when I put in the code, it said till midnight.
When I realized the delay was going to potentially get us there a bit after midnight, I called the front desk at 7:20 pm to clarify because of the conflicting times. I asked what happened if our plane was late and got there after midnight. The male I spoke to said if it was after 12 , I should call the front desk when we arrived and they would arrange to send a a Lyft. When we finally arrived at CLT at 12:30 (exhausted after many delays all day) I called the front desk and this time, a female answered and told me they didn’t know who told me that the hotel would send a Lyft (I had called 5 hours earlier) but there was no shuttle and no, they do not provide transportation and we were on our own to get transportation. We ended up getting an Uber $25 for a 4 minute ride. I was really disappointed and aggravated because we had already paid $170 primarily because we could get a shuttle to a place to get a 5-6 hours of sleep after a long day of travel with an overnight layover. We won’t stay here again (or any Hampton Inn) for this reason as I will either seek out a less expensive place (knowing I have to pay for transportation) or assure a 24 hour shuttle.
Great location. Clean. Our room was very roomy and nice.
The complimentary breakfast could have been a lot better. The lady that was on duty was not at all prepared. Pans were empty and she ran low on everything. Even the coffee station was empty both mornings. However, she didn't seem to be in a hurry to comply either. But other than that everything else was good. We will come back.
Extremely welcoming and clean. Teresa at the front desk managed our large group check in efficiently and with great kindness.
Smoke detector in room started alarming for low battery at 4 am. Called the front desk. Was told no one could help us until 5 am. Stated “try to remove the battery if you are able”. Did not help. Called back again. Was told to “remove the alarm if you are able to get up there.” Tried to do that and the alarm went off. Was told she would have gave me our money back but since we booked through a third party site she couldn’t help us.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by knesha friendly helpful lucky to have her representing your hotel Brandi was another employee who was amazing In assisting us with answers to all our questions and needs enjoyed the hotel very much breakfast very good

The ' barn door' slider over bathroom and closet door just doesn't work well. No privacy in bathroom. Very noisy for nighttime bathroom visits.
The rooms were very clean and staff were kind and friendly. Also having cookies at check in was a nice touch.
I really object to being charged separately for parking, especially because if I am parking I am not riding your “free” shuttle. It feels like I am being nickeled and dimed. If you can’t make ends meet charging your current rate then raise the rates, don’t try to find creative ways to increase revenue. This surprise fee to park in an open lot was off putting.

This property is always clean, an excellent location for connecting with Charlotte airport, and staff are always friendly and helpful.
