Grand Tower Inn Rama VI Hotel

Place was good for its cost. Outlets are dated just one outlet next to each side of bed taken by the lamp. Bed was extra firm for me made it tuff to sleep well. Staff was fantastic and helpful.

Hotel is clean and comfortable with nice rooftop pool to relax. Also delicious breakfast served in the lobby.

Staff was nice and friendly.

This was truly a grand property when it was built, but that was some time ago. It's perfectly adequate and clean for a quick trip, but it doesn't have some of the basic necessities such as adequate electrical outlets or a walk-in shower.

24 hrs security. Friendly staffs. The place is great overall.

Fint hotel til prisen personalet var ikke gode til engelsk. Fine værelser med god udsigt. Rigtig dårlig wifi vi kunne ikke komme på kun i receptionen. Havde fået at vide at vores 2 mindste børn kunne spise morgenmad til halv voksen pris så vi valgte morgenmad med. Næste morgen måtte de ikke få halv pris selv om de ikke spiser ret meget. Dårlig service fra damen i restauranten.

Terrible stay. Air conditioner was broken. They wouldn’t let me switch rooms. Stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast was not worth it. Exercise floor smelled like spray paint every day. Rooms were not soundproofed as advertised. Absolutely avoid this place and don’t give them a dime. My services were not as described whatsoever.

日曜帰国前に、土曜日にチャトチャックを見て回ろうと、金曜の夜に移動してこのホテルを選びましたが、周辺はスクンビットのようには、お店もないので不便かもしれないですね。電車の駅も少し離れていてタクシーやバイクを使うつもりにしていなければ、中途半端な場所かもしれない。アソークのような渋滞がないので、良かったかも静かで家族連れなら平和だったかもしれない。今回のようにチャトチャック目的だったらもう少し近くか、電車に駅路でホテルを探した方がよかったかな。ホテルは、アパホテルのような位置付けか、やたらと多くの部屋がある。エレベーターは2機しかないので待ち時間が異常に長い。それほど綺麗ではないが、寝るだけなら十分。お湯量は、タイ最高の湯量を誇りますね。お風呂はおすすめです。Wi-Fiは遅いので動画は止まりがちです。朝食は付けなかったので分かりませんが、ビュッフェレストランを見る限り品揃えは多そうな感じですね。欧米人も多いみたいなので、料理はしっかりしてると思われます。

Ok hotel but very poor experience, which it did not have to be.
So many negatives - 20 mins waiting whilst they found my 'lost' booking, even though they had already charged the money to my card days ago. Very poor wifi all through the hotel, even when in reception or standing next to wifi router, made it impossible to book taxis or do things. Lots of traffic noise in the rooms.
And just VERY unhelpful staff - when i asked for local restaurants and other things they kept telling me '20 mins walk' even though stuff round corner. Could not help me get taxi when leaving.
Will not stay again.

I only stayed there for 1 night. but it was a nice place. I'd stay there again if i was back in the area.

Overall ok, looked better on the photos, best part was the views from 18th floor, old building and had to take a taxi whenever wanted to go to city centre which was 15-30minutes

Great staff. Nice rooms. Excellent pool with a great view of Bangkok.

The Bad:
No English TV, 30 min walk to the nearest Train, Far from city center, poor Breakfast, similar item everyday, Old property, poor internet, Wawa, the night manager unwelcoming, dismissive, not friendly!!
The good:

The room I got was not like the one I selected when did the booking. In the website they show a superior class room, but it is not the one you get. The washroom was ok, but found some mold on the washroom furniture. Other than that, was ok.

Yes, I would recommend this hotel for a stay. Older but well maintained - it’s a taste of classic Bangkok at a reasonable price. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Wifi wasn’t a success for me and the pool was closed during my stay but the impressive views from my room and the roof are great! Unique gym!Breakfast cafe open in the morning. Quick check-in, unique elements, good vibe will have me return. Bang Sue is the closest MRT so you’re a little further out from the city centre(s). Black out curtains are great, no weird smells but no mug or spoon use with the kettle provided. Otherwise - recommend!
