Pros:

Staffing must be an issue at this location. Upon trying to check in there was no one at the front desk. We spoke with employees from housekeeping who were very kind & as helpful as they could be. After waiting over 45 minutes to get a front desk staff member, we left to have dinner. When we returned the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful & apologized profusely. Story ended up being that one person left & the person for next shift never showed up. When I asked for a manager, I was told, "managers never work weekends". This is a 24/7 operation, in my opinion a manager should always be on duty. I would not recommend & will nit stay here again.

Late check in and was nauseated from heat wonderful staff gave me a package of crackers and let me have a late discharge
Pros:

Ab fab staff all shifts. Best lodging experience I’ve had in years. Definitely recommend for south Louisville stay!

Cons:

Long walk from parking lot lol I’m a handicap elderly lady and forgot my lanyard! I asked for room close to desk for safety. Was put on 4th floor far end away from elevator but I’m sure it was what was available snd no fault of the facility staff.

Although the restaurant/bar was listed on the website and was a decision factor when booking, we were not able to go in it because it was closed for a private event. I, a paying customer of the Holiday Inn was not allowed to go into the restaurant but people that were staying at the hotel next door were allowed to. VERY DISAPPOINTING, especially when it occurred both nights of my stay.

Disappointed
Pros:

The bed i guess.

Cons:

The decor, the smell(stale),when looking for a place to stay one reason I chose this one was because it said it came with free breakfast, but when I checked in the lady said we did not get the breakfast.when booking the room I did not see any other options 😡 the wall where the air-condition is needed repaired.

Clean, comfortable and affordable
Pros:

Check in was smooth and easy. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good as well.

Cons:

There's a restaurant on site that was unfortunately closed. There was no indication of this on Booking.com, so this was disappointing. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the onsite restaurant.
