Adequate for short stay.
Pros:

Good parking facilities. Room was clean.
Hotel was in close proximity to Llangollen town centre which was within walking distance about fifteen minutes away.

Cons:

Location of bed was to close to desk unit which made it difficult to get past without banging into base of bed which was box like and very unforgiving if your foot hit it.

Bad experience
Pros:

I liked the location the property, walking distance from town centre, near to shops and River Dee.

Cons:

Property Rooms were not cleaned, carpet was too old and smelling badly. Bathroom was not cleaned properly. I specially requested them to allot a room with good view as I am coming with my family for my wife’s birthday. But they give me room with view of nothing. Only I can see old container outside from my house.

Cons:

No hot water for shower when I arrived.
I booked the hotel with my partner and paid the price on the understanding that a spa was available but it turned out that there were no available slots for the period that I was there. Had I known that, I would have booked a hotel in a better location at the centre of town at a much cheaper hotel.

The advert said bath and shower - however the hotel is miss advertising as they said its bath OR shower. I didn’t have a bath in my room and I am 8 1/2 months pregnant so I wasn’t able to use the washing facilities and the bed was uncomfortable which hurt my back and I wasn’t able to bath in the morning to try and help my back pain. Staff did not move us rooms to one with a bath despite making them aware

Great location. The hotel just seemed a little weathered!
Pros:

Really good size room and excellent breakfast

Cons:

Evening menu was limited.
Having paid just over £400 for two nights in an upgraded suite I then had to pay a further £20 for the use of spa to find the steam room didn’t work!

Absolutely loved it! Would definitely go back and the staff were just so lovely and friendly and helpful.
Pros:

We loved the ease of location the staff were just lovely and couldn’t do enough to help you and the room we stayed in was really nice. Clean, warm, homely.

Cons:

Loved the traditional look of it yet had modern amenities. The spa was wonderful and the property was well thought out in decoration and use of space.

Served its purpose as visiting pavilion for a conference
Pros:

Adequate to our needs would have liked more choice on meal menu . Would be better if breakfast included All the coffee we tried was lukewarm and un@ble to drink we feel ther3 was a fault with machine which we reported to waitress but too late and spoilt the breakfast .
