I didn’t even end up staying, the hotel still had heaps of rooms that weren’t fully furnished that every man and their dog could could access to.
For starters the shower curtain could’ve been clean, and actually a proper water proof shower curtain rather than a regular curtain. The building had lots of construction still going, and were to charge a ridiculous amount of money for a place that’s not even fully furnished. The hinge on our room entry door was off of the spot too, and took a while for the door to actually close.
Location.
I have stayed at this property several times prior to it rebranding and I was extremely happy with all prior stays. The property is now no longer a hotel/serviced apartments but positions itself as a long stay accommodation option with room servicing only once every 7 days and staff/management no where to be found. It’s not sold this way on booking platforms, my tv didn’t work and it took 48 hours + to have toilet paper replenished. It’s more of a backpackers student accommodation setup now so it’s sadly gone downhill although being refreshed. Very disappointed and will be sourcing other accommodation for future trips to Sydney

Great location, nice comfortable warm rooms. Very comfy beds. Friendly staff. Fairly quiet room too.
No parking, but we understand due to the location, in saying that the parking fee was reasonable. Nowhere to hang your towel.

Room was in a convenient location, had all we needed. Fairly priced.
Shower wasn’t cleaned properly (hair still in the shower), bed was not comfortable and felt like it was going to break, pillows felt non existent and woke up aching.
Nice hotel with convenient location
The property was located in a nice and quiet part of Sydney, not very far from the train and near the center. The room was clean and the staff was nice and helpful.
Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in May 2025.
TLDR: if they can fix their overly-sensitive fire alarm, I'd recommend this hotel as a budget stay in Sydney, within a 20-minute walk of the CBD.
PROS:
reasonably priced
in a great neighbourhood (used to be sketch but has been very gentrified)
small kitchen area in room and an excellent market across the street
free laundry facilities
rooftop patio with views of downtown Sydney (can just see Opera House)
loads of cafes/restaurants in neighbourhood
handy to public transport
CONS:
only staffed between 8am and 7pm;
poor communication: they don't clean unless you stay more than 7 days; replace products/towels but don't make the bed; don't do anything on the weekends so you have to go to reception to ask for products/towels;
laundry facilities have 3 washers and 2 dryers - one dryer was out of service the entire time we were there;
the location is not truly central (20-minute walk to centre)
Our room was tiny for 2 people for a week - only one chair to sit on to eat; not much room to move around the bed and get to washroom
Although there is a kitchen area, appliances are older and could use replacement.
BIGGEST CON:
Three of the 7 nights we were there, fire alarm was triggered and always outside of staff hours. Saw a patron outside with her walker wearing jammies, waiting for the fire dept. When alarm reported, staff not surprised and offered no apology. Routine occurrence, apparently.
Until they fix this, can’t recommend.
value for money
Cute little hotel located in a quiet area of Potts Point. Steps from Kings Cross station that will take you anywhere in the city. Just a few miles walking from Museum of Arts, Hyde Park and the Harbor. There are plenty of cute restaurants to eat nearby and a fresh food supermarket for anything else you might need. Wish they would do better at cleaning the room, or at least more consistently but it was a great stay nonetheless.
