We had an exceptional stay at this hotel and would confidently rate it as a true five-star experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff stood out. They are genuinely attentive, always present without being intrusive, and clearly focused on ensuring we had the best possible holiday. Nothing felt like too much trouble and the room and facilities were very clean.
The design and atmosphere of the hotel are something special. It is beautifully inspired by the principles of Angkor Wat, and you can feel that influence throughout—from the architecture to the calm, almost spiritual ambience. It creates a unique sense of place that elevates the whole experience well beyond a standard hotel stay.
The restaurant and bar are also absolutely five-star. One evening, we had the unforgettable experience of the chefs preparing our meal right in front of us, talking us through the spices and techniques as they went. It was a beautifully presented four-course meal, perfectly matched with wine pairings—an experience that felt both personal and top-class.
Location-wise, it is ideal—close to the main road which makes it very accessible without any of the noise or disruption.
Overall, this is a thoughtfully run hotel with outstanding staff, exceptional dining, a unique and memorable design, and a peaceful environment. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, relaxing, and distinctive stay.
If you book early and plan ahead it can be very good value for money
Thankyou again to all the staff at Anantara!
A truly delightful experience. The staff were extraordinarily pleasant, the room and resort were beautiful, and the food (and especially the server) was above and beyond. This hotel made me wish I extended my stay in Siem Reap.
great hotel with such an individual and personal quality. We stayed in 8 different places during 3 wks in Cambodia, Lao and Vietnam, and Anantara came out on top
More than just a place to stay, Anantara Angkor Wat feels like a true home away from home—only far more indulgent. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with the kind of warmth that instantly puts you at ease, a genuine expression of Cambodian hospitality at its finest.
Every detail here is intentional. Every interaction feels personal. It’s not just about service—it’s about care. The kind you don’t have to ask for, but quietly notice in every moment.
As the day winds down, turndown service becomes something you actually look forward to. Your bed is prepared as if someone’s about to tuck you in, your space gently reset, amenities replenished, and every little detail thoughtfully taken care of—like returning to a room that already knows exactly what you need. The cleanliness of this resort is impeccable with so much attention to detail.
There’s a certain calm, almost cinematic elegance to it all—The White Lotus energy, but warmer, more sincere, and far more personal. Every staff knows you like a friend and approaches you with security and care,
Location is tucked away from the busy streets of Pub Street which is more peaceful with little to none noise level.
Whether you’re starting your day in peace or ending it in complete comfort, every moment here carries a strong sense of being looked after. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t just host you—it embraces you. You honestly get what you paid which is more than just values,
Our stay here wouldn’t be amazing without the entire staff on duty from 04/07/26-04/10/26. The love and care for us really set the bar up. It wasn’t just service, it was passion felt right. To my Cha of Chi Restaurant, to Moon and Darany of front desk for always greeting us hello and goodbye upon arriving and leaving, to all the house keeping staff for cleaning our rooms twice and for always attending to our needs, to all butlers and servers 🙏🏻 i am sad to leave this heavenly place 🥹
A stay that goes beyond luxury. One that truly pampers, spoils, and stays with you long after you leave.
This is the second Anantara property we’ve stayed in and I must say, they have panache and style. We found our room comfortable and lacking nothing. Appreciated the well designed shower that kept water where it belonged. Beautiful water feature right in the center courtyard. Well appointed gift shop. Dining in the evening was expensive for Cambodia and mediocre but it was so relaxing to be there. Breakfast was excellent.
My wife and I are traveling with a small group throughout South East Asia. The weather is brutally hot but our stay at the Anantara Angkor Wat equally as sizzling. The staff is always helpful, took time to know us by our names and were always happy and helpful. From the general manager to the dining staff everyone was 5 star. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the pool area and dining facilities are top notch. The spa was a welcome retreat from the heat as well. Our honestly only disappointment is that we have to leave. Hopefully we can return again soon. Thanks to everyone here at Anantara Angkor Wat!
The Anantara Angkor Resort was our little oasis on our recent family trip to visit Angkor Wat. We booked a family suite, which was super spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family traveling with two teenagers. We coordinated our temple tours through the hotel, and everything ran well. Our guide was great, and the driver went above and beyond by having cold water and cold hand towels ready after each temple. It was a godsend in the heat. Our guide also knew all the best places for photos and even showed us some camera features on our iPhones. Most of the tours have a break in the day, which provided us time to rest and enjoy the pool during the peak sun hours.
The biggest surprise was the outstanding food at the hotel, which far exceeded expectations. The breakfast offering was super fresh and filled us up each morning. Our temple tours included lunch at the hotel, which we were surprised to learn was a 3-course western or kymer menu (or you could mix and match courses between menus). The dinners were equally fantastic. All the ingredients were so fresh and each dish was executed very well. We ended up eating all our meals at the hotel across our 3-day stay because they were so good.
We had a wonderful visit at Anantara Angkor. Service was top notch from start to finish, and all of the staff were kind and genuinely cared about our family having a great experience. We booked the VIP airport arrival/transfer, and they had very new, spacious vans with charging ports, WiFi and local snacks/cold water. We did two private tours through the hotel and also found those to be good value - same nice vans, lunch included and high quality driver/tour guide. The back and forth to plan these ahead of the trip was very helpful - they patiently worked with me to get the perfect itinerary for our family. The restaurant breakfast and lunch by the pool were both particularly good (food and service) - huge selection at breakfast and the most delicious bruschetta (unexpected!). Easy $5 Tuk Tuk ride to town for dinner one night. Only slight mishap was the gym was about 86 degrees one morning when I went in so think A/C wasn’t working (or on a timer that I couldn’t figure out), though they worked to fix it asap. Otherwise it was a perfect stay. Oh, and fabulous/huge room (we had the family suite for our family of 4).
The staff at Anantara Angkor were friendly, joyful, and helpful. We were greeted at every meal by the chef. Every morning, we were greeted by the front desk and escorted to breakfast with a reminder to please let them know how they could assist us. The surroundings were peaceful and cozy comfortable, like a giant spa, in the midst of the city, with fountains, koi ponds, lush greenery, a lovely pool, and beautiful rooms (only 39). Our daily return from tours was greeted with smiling staff on the front steps, musical performance, and helpful hands. I can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed our stay. I hope we can make it back some day!
This hotel is incredible. As soon as we walked in we were blown away by the gorgeous design of the hotel. The service here is the best I have ever experienced and all staff members are so kind and happy to help. The dine by design Apsara show is incredible I thought was such good value and the dancers are amazing and so is the food (I wish I had a bigger appetite and could eat it all)! We also did the Kulen Mountain tour which was amazing. If anyone comes to Cambodia I will tell them this is the must stay hotel!

Beautifully constructed hotel! Great spa! We had a relaxing massage there! Very courteous ..they thoughtfully had our room ready for us at 10.30 am considering we took a night flight and had little sleep and check in is usually at 2!
Smaller room but with a lot of convenience! Good food choices for vegetarian ! I enjoyed their breakfast and masala chai! We forgot our charger there and they were kind enough to overnight it to Phnom Penh for us!
I’d highly recommend staying here again!
We stayed at Anantara Angkor for 3 nights with my family and had a wonderful time. Amazing well-maintained property with beautiful rooms. Personally my favorite part was the restaurant which I found very spacious, placed in the middle of the hotel is gets all the light from the sun during the day. The menu options and food quality were also very worth mentioning.
Thank you to Vannak and Yuki for arranging everything that we needed and being very helpful both pre-arrival and during stay. Thank you to Chai and all your tea for your great service and care at the restaurant.
Anantara Angkor is definitely the 5* hotel you need to stay if visiting Siam Reap!
Thank you again for the wonderful time and lifetime memories
My daughter and I stayed for three nights and had a truly comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The staff were consistently polite, attentive, cheerful, and efficient, and we never felt any inconvenience during our stay. Even before our arrival, the team kindly assisted with arranging guided tours and dining reservations, keeping us well informed with prompt responses and helpful updates.
Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with traditional Cambodian touches. It was very clean, and all facilities—including the bathroom and shower—were well maintained and comfortable.
Overall, thanks to the hotel’s excellent service and well-arranged temple tours, we had a wonderful and memorable trip. We would be happy to return in the future.
I am blown away by the peaceful scent, the attention to detail, the extraordinary service. This is an amazing oasis in an extraordinary city..
Every single staff member is so kind and attentive.
I’m so grateful to the kind gentleman who cleaned my feet as part of the welcome ritual . I’m also very grateful to Kinsao for her exquisite service at the pool. This place is so special. I’m so grateful.
We stayed at the anantara for our Cambodia detour trip for three nights, we had the Sothea suite and it’s super spacious and our corner felt very private thanks to the frangipane tree to break the view. I need to mention that the room is tired (stained grouting and yellowing flush plates kind of a thing) but compared to other 5 star hotels in the area we’re still happy with our choice. Another area of improvement is the restaurant, menu is too long, portions are too big (we’re two guys) so I think it’s a place that value quantity over quality. But still compared to the other hotel we’d stay here again! Temple tour highly recommended too! And if you want to have a great meal go for tasting menu at Kroya but sleep here as the bed is truly the most comfortable we had on our trip through south east Asia!
Excellent staff and location for exploring. Rooms are very large and well appointed. Plentiful breakfast. Highly recommend.
We recently spent four beautiful nights at the Anantara Angkor Resort along with three other couples. The facility, with an interior courtyard pool, is beautiful. The accommodations and staff were wonderful and every request was met with courtesy and an immediate response. It is difficult to call out any particular highlight because the front desk, bell staff, concierge, maid service, restaurant and spa services were exemplary. That said, the restaurant and spa were exceptional and made the stay seamless.
