Bed and pillow was amazing!

Overall a good hotel in a great location. Dining and shopping are abundant right next door.
There is an issue with the shower leaking water on the floors. It appears the hotel is trying to correct a previous design with newly installed shower doors.
Not quite there yet. It's mildly annoying. But I have stayed here 3 times now and feel it's a good value and a nice place.

We stayed as WOH Explorist guest while our AC was under repairs. Our WOH status was acknowledged and amenities provided. We were not offered a complimentary upgrade but we were literally here to sleep and lucky enough to grab breakfast. The hotel is freshly renovated, clean and conveniently located

Great location!!! Easy to get to, near shopping and restaurants!

The Hyatt House at Short Pump went way beyond my expectations. The location is fabulous , with access to a gorgeous outdoor mall and plenty of restaurant options. The staff is helpful, professional and well trained in every aspect. I would like to mention the excellent service of Front Desk Manager Sunil and the Bar Manager Shari. Both went way beyond to be helpful and attentive. My room was spacious and pleasant , it truly is a jewel of a Hotel.

Good location and convenient to shopping and dining. The front desk staff was less than chipper. They charge a ridiculous $10 per hour for early check in. The corner "Hollywood Suite" was silly and I was disappointed it did not have a kitchenette like the other rooms even though it was more expensive. My son said the couch bed was horrible (he's 10). The door to the bedroom was a sliding door and did not stay shut or provide much privacy. If we return we would opt for a regular room with kitchenette.

Best sleep I've had in a long time. Very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good!

Great location, very clean and comfortable room and bed. Full-size fridge to store all your bottled water and other food needs for the entire week. Very quiet as well. Mall right outside the parking lot, Perfect.

We had to hunt for wash cloths. Wash cloths should be available twice per day (in the morning and in the evening) for hygiene. Trash cans at the front should also be emptied timely and litter should be removed regularly from hotel assigned parking. The breakfast variety and presentation were excellent. There was a coffee and tea station that were excellent in appearance and options. Decor in the public space areas and guest rooms were excellent and modern. Noise was no issue despite the hotel being solidly booked. However, a better solution must be implemented for the guest laundromat. The guest laundry is coin operated. If the hotel chooses not to modernize, a change machine must be installed or the hotel should advertise that quarters are available for purchase at the front desk. Cashless or coin-operated systems each may have their faults but the hotel must implement a system that is more guest friendly. A combination of cashless and coin-operated could also be tested if the property is hesitant to invest in cashless options at this time.

The place had turned in to a dump. No a/c working in the lobby , hallways , elevator, and to beat it all the room has a motion sensor you have to
Move every 15 mins or the a/c turns off . It’s hard to relax in this place being hot all the time . Management sucks as they only work during the week so nothing could be done . Also only one working elevator for the past 6 months and it’s a construction dirty elevator. It used to be a nice hotel But not any more .

Location, near shopping center and restaurants

Very nice hotel very nice staff. It was clean. We had no issues or concerns. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend staying there again very convenient location. Parking was ample

The location of the hotel to a great variety of good restaurants within walking distance makes the hotel special. Also, the proximity to downtown Richmond facilitates transportation to areas of interest. Finally, the breadth of breakfast items should please all looking for repast.

Walking distance to mall, other shops and restaurants. Close to where my mother and relatives lived.
