Very spacious, clean, and well appointed accommodations. Excellent location.
Pros:

I stayed in a corner suite and it was very spacious. It was also very clean and provided everything one could need. The bathroom was also huge and well appointed.

Cons:

This is really not fault on the hotel's part, but the facility was under construction while I was there. The management did everything possible to minimize the interruption, but there was still the inconvenience of having only one elevator for guest use. This will not be a forever thing though.

This is my go to place to stay when I’m in Richmond. Love that I can walk to the Funny Bone comedy club.

I should get my money back for not being able to enjoy a sleep in-which was the goal
Pros:

Everything was fine except for the fact that they did not mention at booking or check in that the entire place was undergoing renovations and that all amenities were not accessible AND that they would begin construction at 7am on a Saturday morning.

Pretty Good stay but the construction is a mess.
Pros:

This is a really good outfit, generally. However, as they are remodeling several floors and using one of the two elevators entirely for construction support, the impact was significant to getting up and down to/from one's room. They offered no heads-up of the ongoing work or a consultation to offset the inconvenience. Also, we upgraded to get the tub in the room, and the hand nozzle was broken. Not a huge deal, but when you pay a $100 extra for an upgrade, one sort of expects it to be in 'A' condition.

I probably would not stay there again just because of the strict check in policy

I hated the dumb check in policy. Even if you’re there 45 minutes before check in and the room is ready they charge you an extra fee for “early check in” I can see charging a fee for checking in 3 or 4 hours early but absolutely not for an hour especially if the room is not in use. I’ve absolutely never been to a place where if the room was ready they wouldn’t give it to you. What do they benefit from making you wait for check in. There was even a guy that came in after me and tried to check in 20 mins early and they wouldn’t let him without paying as well! It was ridiculous!!
