Hampton Inn Galax

I was treated royally! Kevin, Maritza, Susan ...all were so very nice and helpful! I went to Comfort Inn nearby, but quickly went right back to y'all! I will definitely book with you again!! Plus, the breakfasts were really good! Sandy Proctor

Upon our arrival, our rooms were ready. One room was over the pool area and was musty smelling. We contacted the front desk and housekeeping and they immediately moved us to another room. They were super accomodating. The Hotel is in the process of being remodeled, but the hotel was very clean an orderly. The staff could not have been more friendly or accomodating. We have stayed at this hotel several times when we travel to the area. They have always been very accomodating. I'm sure once the remodeling is complete it will be even better.

Great hotel! Going through some renovations but all was super clean and comfortable. Shower had great water pressure and temperature, bed was comfy, loved the extra touches everywhere especially the lemon and cucumber water in the lobby. Thank you!

The location is excellent and suited our needs perfectly. The breakfast was adequate - no better than one would expect from a hotel breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and eager to help.

We were quite pleased with the accommodations at the Hampton Inn Galax. We were a little disappointed that they did not officially have EV charging, but were very happy that they offered that we could plug into the outlets on either side of the main entrance. The only problem was that I did not have my charge cord in my Ioniq 6. We had to travel about 15 miles to find a commercial EV charging facility. The other minor disappointment was that the window curtain in our room was about an inch too short, allowing morning sun into our room to disturb sound sleep. The courtesy breakfast options were very nice and varied. The overall facility was clean and satisfactory. We would gladly return, this time, however, with our own EV charging cord.

The staff was friendly

The breakfast was great. The staff was really nice, polite and professional. Our room was clean and there were plenty of towels. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. We will definitely return.

This property charged me even when I didn’t stay.

When I arrived they checked me in without telling me the internet wasn’t working.

When I found out, I told them I couldn’t stay and needed to b checked out at no charge.

They said I would need to wait days till their manager approved. I did contact Hilton. They apologized for the hotels behavior and still they charged me.

Don’t stay here. Not a reputable business

Our room was clean and neat. Staff very friendly and helpful. What stand out the most is the great variety of coffee creamers. We stay at a lot of Hilton properties but it is the small things like good coffee and creamers that make a difference. Will stay here again!

This is where I always stay when I travel for work. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and the staff members are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good! Bonus points for the fresh coffee all day!

I have stayed in this motel several times and the check in staff has always been great. One of the staff is a gentleman that has been there every time we have stayed. It says a lot to see the same staff staying. Thank you for a great stay.
