Nice hotel and setting, wonderful customer service
Front desk staff went above and beyond to help when I made a mistake on the date of reservation. They found us a room even though they were mostly full. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next day was excellent and our server was personable and friendly.
Room was not vacuumed, there was creamer and makeup on the desk that hadn’t been cleaned. The shower has hair and a dirty handprint on the wall. We had a jetted tub and the jets were moldy. We had no washcloths and the one we did have was dirty on the floor like it had been missed by maid service It looked like all they did was change the sheets. Our phone didn’t work and it beeped all night. We had to unplug it from the wall. I called the front desk in my cell phone and let them know, and they didn’t offer any solution. They were fully booked or we would have asked for another room. I was surprised to see there was not a mini fridge in the room. The flowers in the lobby were dead and don’t even get me started on the breakfast service. Needless to say I was very disappointed because this is an expensive hotel. I do not recommend and will definitely not return.
Parking was great it was indoor. Wish they had car charger inside but not a deal breaker. Room was clean . They need a bigger Tv . Overall great stay.
Just beautiful!!
It was a great hotel with a great view.
The staff here are stellar! Everyone was really kind, even when they were overwhelmed with customers. As far as cleanliness, I’d say 8/10. I found someone else’s pants in a drawer, and there was stuff on the walls in the bathroom. Little things, but I figure considering what you pay the little things count.
For summer guests like myself, there’s really not much to do and it’s a veritable ghost town, but my guess is most people aren’t going there in the summer just to hang around anyways.
Finally, the food is good, but if you’re thinking of getting one of the specials be prepared to pay out the nose. I was going to get something off the normal menu but one of the specials sounded nice, talk about a surprise when I get the bill! Again, if you’re there in summer the on site food might be your only choice as a lot of things are either closed or close early in town.
Overall I’d probably go back, but I suspect the winter prices are much higher, and if so I wouldn’t say it was worth it
Jackson Gore needs to find out why they claim all rooms are booked when there are rooms available for customers.
good stay
They didn’t give us a coffee pot. They said they were gonna give us. They told us to make sure we address anything while we were there and we did and they still couldn’t help us. The lounge didn’t open till 5 o’clock. The food menu choices in the restaurant are terrible.
Beautiful area. Quiet and a friendly staff
The hotel needs a major renovation. Room was dirty outdated and falling apart. Bed and pillows were horrible!
We checked in and it went great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating at the front desk. We went to the restaurant for dinner around seven and were unable to be seated being told. It would be 835, we were good with that and waited at the bar. We never received a call. We followed up a couple of times with the hostess and ultimately ordered takeout from the bar.… jimmy at the bar was very helpful in getting our order in and out to us before the kitchen closed, which was in less than 10 minutes . We got we got to the room and first appearance It looked great until we retired for the night and the are bedding still had stain from previous use. Ultimately there has been some great and some really not so great experience – we’ll see what tomorrow brings..
Nice mountainside view from our window
This is a very nice accommodation. Everything was great.
In room coffee maker didn’t work, no free coffee in lobby
This was a great place for the price. Lots of amenities, great rooms, would definitely stay here again.
Missing many things in our room. Coffee, filters, part for the filter, cups, body wash. TP. Asked fo have added. Some was taken care of. Not a bad stay for $300.
This place is amazing!!! We wish we could stay for a week!
After looking at all the pictures of the property & the fact that it’s “a resort”, this place is a disappointment. The girl at the desk was friendly & nice. She let me know she was new but in my opinion she really needs more training. After giving me a room & the key, she wasn’t able to even direct me to the building where my room was located. After trying to figure it out, I had to return back to the desk for additional help. This time an additional lady was there & told me there was a parking garage, how to access it & where the elevator was located. Once we got to the room, I was disappointed in the size of the room, the outdated furniture and the lamp didn’t work. Also there wasn’t a vending machine on this floor to buy any water & the ice machine was out of order. I called the front desk to ask about the vending machine & the ice machine. She said they were already aware. The night before we stayed at a best western for $100 less than the price of this place and it was so much nicer than this “resort”. For the amount we paid to stay here, it has been worth it. Also breakfast is complimentary only Monday to Thursday.
