Hotel AMANO Rooms & Apartments

In de beschrijving staat dat de kamer is voorzien van airconditioning. Dat is niet juist. Het is een systeem van waterkoeling. Dat is toch wel heel anders, want je kunt geen temperatuur aangeven. Alleen maar of je koeler of warmer wilt. Zeker als het warm(er) is buiten is dat niet fijn! Bovendien staat de hele dag de zon op het appartement. Met de gordijnen dicht blijft het redelijk koel.
Het ontbijt kan ook wel beter. De basics zijn er, maar qua drinken is er naast koffie en thee, alleen maar een paar mogelijkheden qua sap uit flessen. Vers geperst sinaasappelsap zou lekker geweest zijn.

Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave for 4 nights and the aircon only worked for 2. I asked a few times for them to have a look at it. Firstly nothing happen so I left our windows slightly open, then they saw the WhatsApp I send them and told me someone would come to have a look. When we got back, aircon wasn’t fix and they closed our windows! So it was like a sauna!! then I asked again and a guy gave me a fan because I insisted. Still the room was 29 degrees at night (the fan actually told you the room temperature). It was hard to sleep for the last two nights. They could have been a bit more attentive and gave us some cold water or something. The Tuesday we were leaving two technicians came in to fix it. But it was too late for us!! (I don’t know why nobody came on Monday, as I told them Saturday!!) Some nights was cooler outside than inside the room.
I understand Germany is not well prepared for 40 degree days, but being something so unusual they could have been more attentive.

There is not fridge in the room so if you got water at the market it would be warm within the hour.

I couldn't use the sink in the room because of a blockage - the water wouldn't drain.

The elevator was a but too slow

Reggeli: Jó lett volna smoothi vagy gyümölcslé. Joghurtokat is szívesen ettem volna.
Több péksüteményt lehetett volna.
Összességében nem volt nagy választék.
Az emeleten valaki ételt rendelt, az üres papírzsacskó 1 napig a folyosón kallódott szétszóródva.
A roof top bárba nem lehetett felmenni, csak foglalással, még szállóvendégnek sem, amikor meg foglalni akartunk, magánrendezvény volt. Nem tudtuk így kipróbálni.
A szoba sötét volt, hiába égett az összes lámpa.
Az online key-t letöltöttük, nem működött.

Straight after check in, met friends at the rooftop bar and were made to feel very unwelcome by staff. Told where to sit, that we had to leave in an hour, told we should book next time, told we couldn't order drinks until we were all ready as the 2 foot walk to the bar each time was too far - we had only just arrived in the city and all arrived at the bar separately, also when paying the request for tip was done quite aggressively where most of us felt we had to tip even though the service received did not warrant it.

Also, on the Friday evening we arrived back at the hotel at 11pm, tried to go into the downstairs bar and were told we were not allowed as there were too many men in there already - which included 3 of our friends who had walked in 2 minutes before us. Then tried to order drinks at the lobby bar and were told they were closed (even though the sign said 24 hours) and that we could go to the downstairs bar instead, told the member of staff we had been turned away from there and she just said "thats a bit s**t" - again we felt very unwelcome at the bar at the hotel we were guests at and it really put a downer on what was a really nice stay those issues aside.

Zimmer waren sehr klein. Leider gab es auch kein Personal was uns beim Check in begrüßt hat, man musste selber einchecken, was an sich ok ist, aber es fehlt der menschliche Kontakt leider, es wirkt sehr anonym.

Zu teuer, Rooftop Bar geht besser
