Westlodge Hotel

Omg. Top hotel for any visitor. Food in the bar amazing and leisure centre amazing. Rooms perfectly comfortable.

The hotel is OK - dated and small bathrooms but OK. They are failed by the total lack of service or care from staff. Arrived solo in the rain, asked for help bringing bags up from the open car park. Despite 2 on reception and a trolley nearby I was told I had to being them inside and then they might help!
During my stay I thought I'd lost something important, I asked 2 people at reception if it had been handed in, both had a quick look around and advised 'no'. Neither asked for my name or room so they could let me know if it turned up later.
First night of my stay the fire alarm went off at 5am. All guests gathered outside - not a hotel employee or even the fire brigade in sight. The reception desk had a phone with instructions to dial 0 for help - it went to voicemail. Of course it was a false alarm - was there any apology or even acknowledgment later from management? No.
The room was not cheap due to it being a busy time in Bantry. If they're going to charge top dollar, how about top dollar equivalent in service!

Location was brill and staff were great

Lovely basic room and bar but no wifi service to bedroom. Asked at reception and was advised those rooms too far away from router!!! Good service in common areas but disappointing.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Always enjoy our stay at the Westlodge.

Remodeled rooms, wonderful breakfast, staff that care about guests.

This was first time staying here and it was lovely. It was a 15-20 minute walk into Bantry which was pleasant. Dinner was great at the Lodge.

We had a good stay in the Westlodge. The room was clean and comfortable and the cost for the 2 nights was reasonable. Breakfast had a great choice. We had food in the bar and it was good. The pool was ok, nothing amazing but a nice additional to the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Westlodge. There are great facilities, pool, steam room, sauna, pitch and putt etc.

We had a triple room which was spacious and very clean. Overall the cleanliness at the hotel was superb. The staff are friendly. We had the added bonus of a singer every evening after dinner.

It is an easy walk along the beautiful bay into Bantry(takes 25mins). Very close to Bantry House.

Good clean hotel just outside of Bantry.
Very comfortable. Being out of town means eating at the hotel which did get busy but staff were quick and helpful with their service. Not a big deal but if you soend any time in your room dont exoect to watch much tv as channel availability is limited

Lovely stay. Staff are excellent. Only had lunch but that was very nice and not overly priced.
Pool is small but a lovely addition. Would recommend and return

Great location in Bantry as we visited the O’Mahony castles in West Cork

Second time staying there and enjoyed every minute of it.
