DoubleTree by Hilton Las Vegas East Flamingo

The attitude of the staff is very bad, I booked a lot of rooms, but they kept looking for various reasons not to check in for me, the service attitude is very bad. And in the absence of registration, I have not yet been given a refund.

What breakfast?

Nice quiet area, only a couple blocks to the Strip. Good restaurants nearby. View of the Sphere. Very friendly, helpful staff and awesome breakfasts. Pool was great!

In a city where hotels are many, we chose this location because it was a few blocks off the strip thinking it would be a bit quieter and for the most part it was. Upon our arrival we passed through what can only be described as a very depressed and sketchy neighborhood to enter the hotel. When we asked the agent who checked us in about the location, she commented to NOT turn left when departing the hotel. We soon learned however when we turned right out of the hotel, that the hotel was actually conveniently located on the South end of the strip and to the East a bit and had direct access to wherever we were headed to. We interacted with many staff members during our extended stay. A few standouts were, Alisa and Lexie in the restaurant, who were both highly accommodating and friendly. Alisa went out of her way to assist us with anything and Lexie was a pro working the entire dining room often alone and greeted everyone with a cheery demeanor when doing so. The other person worth a mention was AJ, who was by far and away the best agent at guest reception we encountered. He had great hospitality training and made us feel so welcome. I wish I could say this about the remaining employees, but to be honest it was hit and miss, mostly miss with all other staff. We were given wrong information regarding breakfast hours and we were never welcomed or thanked. The overall impression given at the front desk was that we were an interruption or an inconvenience. On two or three occasions, I had to wait while the staff finished their own conversations before acknowledging me. It just appeared that there was a lack of training for many of the employees. The hotel is in some disrepair and neglect. Many areas had badly stained carpeting and trash that was not emptied for days. I think it may be time for a remodel, refresh. There was also a shocking lack of amenities at this property. One being no microwave in the room. I should have double checked when I made our reservation, but it never occurred to me that they wouldn't have one as most Hiltons I've stayed at worldwide do have one. The water pressure was very low and the room lighting was poor. The guest coffee was a machine in the lobby. Both times we attempted to utilize it, it was either out of product or not working properly. There was nothing within walking distance either. Overall, We did end up liking the location which was very close to the high-end properties on the Strip as well as The Sphere where our show was. I liked that the hotel offered secure an underground, gated parking area that you needed a key to access. Overall, I would say the food in the restaurant and the room coffee was more than decent and we did meet some really special staff members who helped make our holiday memorable.

I loved the service at the restaurant Alisa the waitress and Pedro the cook the best!! 👌 and the reception staff I can't think the same, they behaved very despotic!

Wonderful breakfast service from Server Alisa! I sat down and was served promtly. Food came quick and was amazing. I will be coming back.

I would recommend placing a menu in the rooms! Searching for dinner options via google not knowing you had such a wonderful variety of dinner options right here in the hotel!

Stayed there for one night for a stopover. My room was clean, breakfast was nice and staff super. friendly and helpful.
