Pros:

They were able to extend my stay in the same room daily for 13 days. Wonderful front desk team who are lovely to talk to and happy to have you stay.

No screens on the doors or windows.

Pros:

The metropole hotel is situated at the front of the building. So food and beverages are readily accessible. As well as the games room. Trolleys available to help unload and load your luggage from car to room and vice versa.

Cons:

Air con gets really cold and there were no extra blankets.

Comfy, clean room & lovely staff

Disappointing
Cons:

Staff member at the front desk was not friendly or happy at all.
We then got the keys to our booking which was advertised as a 2 bedroom apartment.
To find it was 2 x studios link with access.

Pool was nice but felt too close to reception.

The carpet had what looked like blood stains on it and the mirror was covered in sticky black stuff.

Aircon kept kicking in and out cold and warm.

Ordinary ! Needs an renovation !

The caretaker was a bit rude , like we put him out . We drove all day from Georgetown got stuck at Harvey range had to go back and come through Charters towers and arrived 12 pm , had no dinner and when we did arrive it was an inconvenience!!
