Great value, lovely staff and fab location
Pros:

Great location, parking available so added bonus. Lovely breakfast, clean and really comfortable bed.
The staff were all exceptional, Liz checked us in and she was great, really helpful and patient. All the staff that we met during our stay were extremely polite and friendly especially when it came to helping me with my Mum and her mobility problems.

Cons:

It was all great, the only thing was the lift because people kept forgetting to close the internal door so the lift wouldn’t come when called and you had to play hint down the lift. I was ok but my Mum has mobility issues so really needed the lift. The staff were great though and helped..

Pros:

The rooms were clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was a bargain and great quality items for an extra £11.

Cons:

There were no visible plug sockets in the whole room, we had to move furniture (bed sides and dressing table) to get to a socket.

I’d mentioned I was disabled plus I’d got a broken foot. I asked for a disabled room and it MUST have a walk in shower.
Pros:

Close to the location I was meeting my friends for their 60th birthday celebrations

Cons:

Most of the staff I spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful. The night porter however didn’t seem to know anything.

Great value for money
Pros:

The hotel was great for us as we came to see Bowling for Soup and being close to the air theatre was brilliant.

Cons:

My only issue was there weren't enough sockets in the room and could have benefited from a window as the room got warm during the night and only had the patio doors.

Cheap stay
Pros:

3 night stay price was very reasonable staff on the reception were very friendly

Cons:

It’s an old hotel that has had some refurbishment ( badly done though) we had 3 night stay and were given coffee pods for the machine just for 1st night we had to buy 4 more from reception .
Bathroom window doesn’t open and no extractor fan.
Bed was ok tv small and picture was not good quality ( if that’s important we just watched the World Cup match )
