Location
Dirty bed sheets on arrival, sheets being put on the floor , tele not being smart
The staff were all really friendly and helpful . The hotel was in an ideal location for us . We loved how clean the hotel was .
Very clean and noticed a few new things. A lot better than when we stayed a few years ago.? When there was a horrible foodie smell. Room was small but adequate for one night
Nothing that a coat of paint outside would do
Excellent Location.
Friendly, Cheerful Staff.
Lovely Single Room With Fantastic View.
Comfortable Bed.
Ironing Board and Iron.
Electric Fan.
'Tassimo' Coffee Maker.
Very Modern Bathroom and Shower.
Enjoyed It So Much That I Extended My Stay.
Nothing At All
Great value for money
The hotel was ideally placed for the open air theatre. Staff were all very friendly and helpful
Cleanliness of room wasn’t great. Long black hairs left in the shower were unpleasant as they were so obvious and could have easily been cleaned away. The hotel breakfast wasn’t great; hot food had been out too long and was unappetising. We should have used a local cafe instead!
Perfect location for our purposes, and we liked the room on the ground floor. A nice bar.
Breakfast was a little basic but ok.
Very clean food excellent .
It was cold in the room even though it was warm outside and no parking.
Great location. Easy parking. Friendly and has everything you need. Fantastic value for money.
All good
Great location and really good value for money. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were great.
staff were helpful.
always friendly.
Room comfortable and had all required for our stay.
Location good although fairly steep hill to walk up for those with walking difficulties.
Bar food available up yo 7.15pm.
restauranr could have been open on an evening.
I liked almost everything. Location, view from my room, cleanliness, staff, bathroom, the fact there was a small heater for chilly nights, which are regular in the UK, the tasimo coffee machine, comfortable bed, quiet, lovely dining area and lounge, the complimentary lemon and orange water near the lounge, professional staff, I could go on...really reasonable price. A Premier Inn in the same town for the same nights was double the price!
I didn't like the fact that I had to give my room key up everytime I went out. I've stayed in lots of hotels and never come across it before. Even if I was just nipping to the corner shop I had to do it. I'm quite a private person, and it felt like you had to report to the staff whenever you come in or went out. In addition, sometimes when I came in there was a queue of other residents wanting their key, and the last thing you want when you're coming in tired is having to queue for your key.
The other thing was the fact that the TV wasn't a smart TV. I've stayed in a B&B in Scarborough where you could log into your own YouTube/Netflix/Amazon etc or press the red button. I don't watch terrestrial TV at all at home, so I just had to keep the TV on a constant news channel to give atmosphere to the room, whilst watching YouTube on my phone. Other than those two things, which are minor things really, just me being picky. It was great, and I'd definitely stay again.
The room was large, well equipped with everything and the fridge was very useful.
The lift is quite difficult to manage with the awkward doors.
Room was ground floor all new appliances think our room had been newly renovated
Nothing every thing was perfect one night stay
Location if you’re going to the Scarborough open air theatre.
Very dated but clean enough
Great location, helpful staff, lovely room with a fabulous view
Nothing
Great location, clean nice room and breakfast lovely.
Zentrale Lage, gutes & reichhaltiges Frühstück, Sauberkeit, Parkplatz, freundliches Personal.
