No frills hotel
Pros:

Great low budget no frills hotel

No restaurant in the evenings had to have bar meals served on coffee tables . Good decor

Great time with friends in comfy setting.

Good for a quick stay
Pros:

Beautiful location overlooking the beach, pet friendly and short walk from town centre and beach. Nice bar area with sofas and chairs, with music on. Beautiful white building.Fridge in the room

Cons:

Very small double room, my large dog barely could move around it. Very small bathroom with tiny shower. The room was very warm so I had to open window during the night. No inside parking so street parking until 11am for free so we had to rush quick walk around town and play on the beach before check out. Old style lift, you need to close gate otherwise it won’t work. The worst thing is you need to leave key at reception every time you go out and when you have a dog it is a bit annoying. No breakfast included in the price even if room is very small. I asked quiet room but you could hear person upstairs yawning and having a shower.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan to revisit at some point.
Pros:

The view from my room looked directly onto the North Bay. The location of the hotel was also within easy walking distance to anywhere we visited. Ate in the hotel on the night of arriving and the food was very nice.

Cons:

There was nothing about the hotel I did not like and I would gladly recommend the Clifton Hotel as somewhere to stay.

Who got a laminator for their birthday?
Pros:

The view and breakfast

Cons:

Aging badly. Windows damaged. Couldn't use the shower. Could have done with water rather then another coffee dispenser. No side lamp but a coffee machine. Always handy to see your way in the dark? And who got a laminator for their birthday?
