Been to this hotel many times & like location staff would like a bigger room
Rooms too small
Very central , clean, modern.
Staff friendly and helpful.
The whole ambience of the Hotel, very smart and friendly staff.
Skiddaw Hotel could save a lot of money by turning down the heating, we had the window open and the door closed to the bathroom where the heat was coming from, but it still was too warm. But we still enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic hot shower and bath, very comfy bed. Cooked breakfast enjoyed by partner. Good breakfast selection
Reception area, restaurant, checking in process were all great. Very clean. Area is perfect, direct in the center.
Staff were very welcoming.
Breakfast is lovely, lots of options.
The room is dated, I was in a single room which I expect to be small but it needs an upgrade. Especially the bathroom. TV is not a smart TV, kettle is about 20 years old.
Charge of £25 a night for a dog is not clear until you have already paid for the room. I dont know why there is a charge when you are given a "dog friendly" room.
Friendly and helpful staff. Able to bring the dog to breakfast. Very clean and modern rooms.
EVERYTHING 😊 the room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable. the food was divine, we had breakfast and 1 evening meal. Each & every staff member we encountered were extremely friendly & extremely helpful. A truly faultless stay.
There wasn't anything we didn't like
Excellent location, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Breakfast very tasty.
Nothing.
Staff were extensively friendly and efficient- good location and well maintained.
Super thick soft towels kept warm in the towel rail
You had to pay for parking
Lovely staff and an excellent breakfast
I booked a 5m squared room this time and it was like a rabbit hutch. Should have paid more attention and will next time
The bed was superking, the room size was generous. We looked out to the High Street. The staff were friendly. The location was superb. Hotel had a lift.
Nothing, it was fine.
I have left my overnight bag behind and Neil has been very helpful
