The location was perfect. Parking was easy. The room was clean and spacious. The bath was excellent.
There was a huge choice for breakfast.
We stayed on a Wednesday night. Its market day on a Thursday. We were woken up by lound metal clangs at 04.30 and were unable to get back to sleep due to the noise! Even with the window shut!
It would have been nice to have a fan in the room.
Great staff, very clean and lovely room. Also lovely breakfast in the conservatory
A little warm in the room but nothing an open window did not resolve
The bed was very comfortable with bouncy pillows which made for a good night sleep. All staff we dealt with (on reception, in the bar and at breakfast) were wonderfully welcoming which makes a great deal of difference.
The bathroom was a little lacking and awkwardly positioned. The toilet was right under the towel heater so it was difficult to sit 'straight on'. The mirror, although anti-fog, was positioned too high to use the anti-fog element so it just seemed ill-positioned. The shower screen was difficult to move out of the way to get into said shower due to it hitting the sink if you pulled it out and was difficult to maneuver around if you pushed it in. The bathroom was the only downside for us. Yes, the room was smaller but we weren't in it for long so this didn't pose an issue for us.
Great location
Friendly hotel comfortably rooms breakfast excellent 👌
Great location
Dirty, hairs in the bed , dusty smell. Lack of flexibility and didn’t end up staying the night , we instead drove 4 hours back home
The shower temperature was not as hot as expected
Very clean
Lovely location, breakfast excellent,
Friendly staff.
It’s in a good location, bed was comfy
The pricing of the car park £7 per night and the cost of your dog to stay £25 per night it should of been in you rate
convienent
Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Amazing touch with the heated mirror in the bathroom and the shower was amazing too! Very comfortable beds also, I’m 31 weeks pregnant and 2 of the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. Breakfast was really good too.
Only downside we found was the rooms were boiling hot in the night and no air con option but this is personal preference as we like a cooler room.
