Don't waste your money at Stormy point. Bad decision
Pros:

The location

Cons:

They told us everything was working but that was not true. The slide 🛝 was open for like 1 hour in 2 days we tried to stay then the water was off then you were told to boil water after you tried to feed kiddos or your self. You asks the front desk and they justed tell you 1 story then it's another story. Not worth the money they asking to stay there. Very bad experience would not recommend for anyone

It was very peaceful

Cons:

We had to clean dog s*** up off the floor that was left there from the people before us.\n They started to send me through a seminar. Took a $40 deposit never gave it back.\n The cabin we had had no parking spot. We had a park down the block and walked to the cabin.

All in all, great place to stay just needs a little love to the properties and updating!
Pros:

The actual place itself was roomy! Much more than expected! Basketball court, playground, nice back porches!

Cons:

We did have a issue with the showers, downstairs wouldn’t shut off and once staff did come to fix it it continued to leak the rest of the trip, the upstairs shower was just out dated and the shower was very small and the head sprayed out to the ceiling. Also, the pools had a weird color and smell. Not sure what it was but it was off and felt a little on the dirtier side.

What disappointed me most was the Resorts Response to how they handled things.
Pros:

I did like the outside seating that was provided and the Karaoke night. It was a family friendly area. I liked the restaurant inside of Stormy Point Village. They had really good food, with decent prices.

Cons:

I did not like that the resort waited so long to tell us that the splash area and slides(only reason we choose this place) was down for Maintenance. They advised me that they had known since Memorial Day. When I called to get some sort of repayment, I was told that they would only waive the cancellation fee , and that nothing else would be done. I called three separate times to speak to a manager and was told they would call me back and never did. I was again told that I could cancel if I would like. The problem with that would have been that I would have not been refunded my money soon enough to then pay for something else which such a lack of quick response.

When checking in, I advised that it was my first time there and was just handed a piece of paper and not given any direction on how to find my room, or explanation of the map. I had to come back and ask for help. I also was not made aware that there was a beach or lake , with us having access or how to get to it.

Cons:

The water park was closed and we were called the night before check in. That was a huge reason we booked at this resort. We understand things happen, but very frustrating. I also did not understand why we had to pay for us to book our spot for the timeshare visit and then just to have it reimbursed. So we opted out. We would have attended had we not had to pay $100 for it since we just paid $250 deposit on our stay,
