Had to pay for breakfast
Everything.. we stayed for mom prom it was beautiful
The floor going to the pool and hot tub .. next time ill wear shoes
It was was clean
The power went out, there were kids playing volleyball from the 5th floor down to the 1st floor because no one wanted to be in the rooms with no lights or tv’s. I was not told about the power outages upon checking in, I went to use the elevator to go to my room with my luggage and that’s when I was told the power was out and we couldn’t use the elevator, pool and hot tub the main reason we booked the room for the hot tub, so that was very frustrating.
Clean. Comfortable.
Broken bathroom door handle. Price
My sister & I were in Midland for a grad party. We were pleased with the Holiday Inn, very nice decor, close to shopping and restaurants. We ate at Big E's (which is connected to the hotel) for breakfast, the food was very good but our waitress wasn't very friendly or attentive. You have to ask for clean towels or more coffee. It now seems to be the norm to only have housekeeping every other day. The only issue we had was where the toilet paper is located- it's under the sink. I'm short (and old), it was kind of hard to reach it. I'm wondering how a child would be able to. Otherwise, we had a nice stay and would stay there again.
The facility was nice and fairly clean
There was no breakfast included. Had to be purchased. We were not told any of this information and had to figure it all out on our own. Apparently we were supposed to get “kids eat free” coupons for the restaurant attached and we also didn’t find that out until after we ate there. The people working at the front desk did not give us the coupons upon our arrival. Just felt like there was a lot we weren’t informed of during our stay (perks, dinner, breakfast, etc).
Location, located near several shops, and destinations, There is also an EXCELLENT restaurant located inside near the pool, which also can bring food into the pool. Sooo convenient. Will DEFINITELY come back!
Nothing
Clean, great location
Front desk person was a bit abrupt. Seemed not to like children.
The pool was nice and my son enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.
I was charged 2 different prices for each night. I originally booked Saturday night on Booking.com but I found out some of the other families booked Friday night too. I called down there Friday morning to see if we could get the room for Friday night also which I was able to get the reservation. Friday night was $200 vs. Saturday night at $154.00. Ridiculous to have 2 different prices for the same room!
Staff and food was great.
Baseball team so pool hot tub way over crowded.
