Don’t stay here - rude staff and don’t follow Booking.com policies

Tried to make me pay through a non Booking.com platform which is against the policy of the website.
Refused to allow my bike in the premises (despite there being NO POLICY published saying that I can’t) with the excuse “we have carpets”
Said I should just “lock my bike up in the street”
Staff were rude and dismissive

The location was very handy and the personel are very friendly.
Pros:

The location was very handy, near the subway. The nearby shopping street was filled with independent stores and good restaurants. The bed was very good, with nice pillows. They had already opened a window, as it was unusually warm for Oct. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The cooked breakfast was very disappointing. I love a cooked breakfast, but I got a coffee and a croissant at a shop nearby, as the breakfast was tasteless and nearly inedible. I'm not difficult at all with my food, but this was high on the list of the worst food I've ever had.

Cons:

Cleanliness was very disappointing. Carpet not hoovered with buildup dust around carpets and under beds, crumbs, sugar , hair and even a hair band in the middle of the room, skirting boards full of stains and dust, walls stained and cobwebs in the ceiling corners and inside bedside lamps, pillowcases with black marks, bathroom walls stained with blood drops and brown something next to the toilet, tea spoon sticky obviously not washed but probably just wiped, shower grout with residual body fat… list may go on!

Velmi příjemné ubytování s velmi příjemným personálem a domáckou atmosférou a s dobrou polohou.
Pros:

Bylo blízko metra a tedy i centra. A bylo v klidné ulici, která navazovala na rušnou, plnou obchodů, restaurací a rychlého občerstvení

Cons:

Schody. Nebyl tam výtah a schody byly nebezpečné. Měla jsem strach, že uklouznu.

The location was perfect. Only a short walk to Kelvingrove Subway and Great Western Road, but it was quiet.
The staff were really helpful - especially Diane on Reception.
Check in from 1pm was very handy.
The room had everything I needed.

Comfy, compact, convenient...one of the few 10/10 reviews I've ever given
Pros:

Great location, quiet, clean, great lighting, comfy bed and lovely staff. I only booked one night but extended another 2

Cons:

All good and although some might think the budget room was small, it was perfectly fine for me and well arranged

Ottima soluzione a Glasgow
Pros:

Camera molto pulita, letto e cuscini molto comodi e bagno grande. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo per una stanza singola ai prezzi di Glasgow. Posizione eccellente, tranquilla e silenziosa, comoda da raggiungere e da cui spostarsi con la metropolitana, vicina ad una strada con parecchi pub e locali e al giardino botanico. Staff molto cortese che mi ha permesso di anticipare il check-in senza problemi.

Cons:

Per raggiungere le camere ai piani non è disponibile un ascensore.
