Room was immaculate!
Fabulous location and friendly
Great location. Concert we came for was cancelled but we found plenty of other things to do and explore. Beautiful parks, amazing museums, and generally getting a feel for the city just off the centre.
Cleanliness was better than other hotels at the same price, and all in all the hotel was pretty cosy.
My friend was able to check in without problems before I arrived.
We slightly regretted not having booked breakfast, as the smell of freshly baked bread the next morning was really pleasant.
Our room (roof) was unfortunately extremely hot, despite us turning down the heating and opening the windows, and we hardly got any sleep that night because of that.
Linen had some black streaks (likely washing machine/dryer; not a problem, but a little off-putting), and the bathroom door was missing a lock, just had a hole were it used to be instead of a replacement. I also didn't get any hot water in the shower, but I think I might have missed a switch for that or something.
The hotel is also old, so part of the ceiling was looking a little suspicious (cracks and discolouration--we decided not to sleep under that part)

• Excellent location, two minute walk from the Kelvinbridge subway
•Lovely staff, who allowed me to keep my suit at the hotel after I had checked out (had to go to uni)
Nothing to dislike

Pillows were dirty & single bed sheets dirty
I liked that checking in and out was very quick. I also felt secure knowing that the key to my room was an actual key, and not a key card. This gave me piece of mind when I returned to my room. I think the area is very safe, and I felt secure walking around that part of Glasgow. The room was a very great size, it didn't feel like the walls were closing in. Everything was spotless, and the bed was really comfy too. I liked that I could adjust the radiator settings myself, making the room very cozy and comfortable.
I don't think there is much that can be improved. However, I didn't use any additional services such as breakfast or other amenities. If I came back to Albion Hotel, I would definitely enquire about these.
