It is in a lovely setting and the location suited us.
Nothing about this hotel was pleasant. We paid €80 each for 2hrs in the spa and wellness facilities considering youv to pay and the way it’s miss lead with advertising you and many other in the spa at the same time as us Assumed it was your time only instead you shared with many other couples and also couples who didn’t pay as it is easy access to simply walk across ankle height bushes and side entrance into the facility this lead to sitting in the rain waiting for the hot tubs and sauna room and also having the quiet room soaking wet from people sitting it in from the hot tubs. This was the start of the stay as we got into the out room it was not what booked originally as I booked a deluxe room with a hot tub
the head board was thick with dust
the tele was the size of a laptop screen (to make it worse it kept turning off and going fussy)
The bedroom was invested with flies counted 6 flies on a wall at one time
Bedsheets had stains on the underneath as it’s tucked under the mattress
Screaming kids running up and down the hall wall and restaurant area till 12 at night and beyond
The food and drinks! I asked for a peroni I got handed a maidri 20 minutes later ! Bear in mind ourselves and 2 other couple in the bar area with 6 staff! I then drank the maidri and asked for same again that’s when I got served a peroni bottle gluten free ! Completely different drink and taste from originally peroni.
Food arrives tacos come on a rack that was broke so when you lifted it the other tacos fell onto the table.
Bar area where we ate our food was a free for all for flies ! Crawling up my arm crawling on my food in my pint on my napkin again about 6 flies over our table and the table beside us who also complained.
Moved to another room in a collage that’s separated into rooms with no WiFi and when the bathroom lights comes on the sound of an airbus 360 erupts with a fan that takes about 10 minutes to turn off each time.

It was honestly a shocking experience and would have got a more pleasant stay in faulty towers.

I was drinking Guinness and the bar staff were not very good at serving it, all over the outside of the glass.
Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fantastic. The spa was brilliant.
No vegetarian options on the menu in the R&R. Was not offered an alternative and waitress was unsure of exactly what she could do, but did not ask further or find out. Unacceptable for a four star hotel.
No plugs beside the bed in the room I was in, which is very awkward.
It was easily accessible.
Staff were very underwhelming particularly at check in. Room was very old fashioned and we were actually given a disabled access bathroom despite neither myself or my partner requiring such a service. Poor lighting in the room and curtains were not sufficient to block out the sunrise hence an early awakening. Only had breakfast in the restaurant but was not impressed at all.
