Marina Palace Hotel & Congress Hall

Booked this hotel for a two hour afternoon rest in a quadraple room. Very clean room with clean linen & very airy.Really couldn't complain. Visited Acitrezza for the day & location is ideal. Lino, the manager is the right man for the job. Very very helpful, went out of his way to see to all our requests. An educated gentleman. Thank you.

Shocking hotel. More like a dwelling of beasts, rather than a hotel. Everything is filthy. No soap. No WiFi, no toilet papers. No towels. There are no light bulbs. Worst of all, there is no one to talk to !!!

On the webpage, it's a very nice hotel. A spa, gym, pool, many conference halls, rooms with balconies, a cafe and banquet hall.

In reality, it's a shadow of its former self. Very little of it's amenities are actually available. The spa, gym and pool are closed. The conference rooms are being worked and are months away from being ready. The bottom centers and spa look like a crypt and were closed during our visit. Wifi doesn't even work. Rooms didn't even have toilet paper. Electrical issues made one of our companions miss her alarm. Rooms were not cleaned.

Beware the shady owners. They conned us into paying for a dinner we didn't ask for. They lied when we asked about the whereabouts of one of our travel companions saying she was in when she wasn't. Significant incompetence with the staff otherwise. The porter is capable of only doing one thing at a time. Only manager speaks English. Very little coordination among the skeletal crew

Food was the only highlight for dinner though with huge portions. Breakfast is just deli meats, rolls, and cornettos though. 1/10. Would not recommend.

Il personale poco preparato, la pulizia delle camere andrebbe rivista perché la struttura merita ma molto trascurata. Colazione con solo cornetto e caffè e no a buffet così come da prenotazione

Albergo modesto e semplice, magari forse ha goduto di tempi migliori. Pro camere spaziose e pulite, parcheggio auto all'interno dell'hotel che per Acitrezza non è poco. Contro servizi essenziali e reception affidata a personale giovane e poco preparato. Prezzo Ok così si fa perdonare le mancanze.

We had a horrible experience! We arrived at around 20.30 and were greeted in the parking by the manager. We were informed that the lift was not working and were escorted to the reception through the service door. We paid for our stay (2 nights) and immediately we were informed that the AC was not working. Of course this was a problem for us as it was a heatwave. They insisted on showing us the room as they were convinced that once we would see the room we would decide to stay. The room's décor was outdated and extremely hot so we were offered a room at a nearby hotel for the first night until the AC was fixed. We were informed that we were the only guests which felt very weird but understandable given the state of the so called hotel. The manager offered us a junior suite with sea view due at the other hotel due to the inconvenience and invited us back at the Marina hotel the next night as the AC would have been fixed by then. We were assured that this other hotel was accessible on foot however it turned out to be 25 minutes away on foot which is not as close as we told. We struggled to find this other hotel as it was in the middle of nowhere not in the center where we wished to stay. We checked in at this hotel and were then shown to our room which was in a state of complete disrepair. The next day we left Aci Trezza and found another hotel as we did not want to return to Marina Hotel. Wasted money, stay away!!

La squisita accoglienza ed uno staff premuroso! Ci siamo sentiti a casa. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Ci viene voglia di tornarci presto!

Could not control air cond...thus room was uncomfortable . Requested at main desk for adjustment, still did not work.
Floors not clean.

The hotel building and rooms are good. Spacious, clean with a good maid service. It doesn't offer 4 star service. The reception staff are lovely but hopeless. They could not help with trips and didn't even know that there was a bus service with a stop outside the hotel to Catania. They made no attempt to provide gluten free and dairy free products for us despite my requesting it on the booking and subsequently when we were there...which really isn't good enough as these things are available from the little supermarket in the same street. The buffet breakfast was sad, limited and repetitive -certainly not 4 star...and we had to provide our own. The car park below should be free for guests. Once again I got conflicting information from reception about paying for it. One person said I could pay at the end of my stay at check out, another said I had to pay the man in the car park...and final settlement of car park and local tax had to be in cash? Is this a 4 star hotel or a street trader? Not able to use credit card. Absurd. Overall poor service from what could be a lovely hotel. Need to sharpen their act with respect to guests needs and be more helpful about local knowledge and improve the food on offer.

This hotel has provided us a very friendly and warm welcome throughout our business stay. The hotel is very central, so you will find lots of amazing coastline, restaurants and cafes and gelato spots, at a walk from your room! In five minutes walk you'll enjoy the Faraglioni dei Ciclopi view, an amazing place! It is a 4 star at a very convenient price, so if you're looking for luxurious furniture and gourmet kitchen this is not the place, you will simply need to spend quite more, in farer locations.

Nice room but regarding services specily breakfast not much choice on the table and we asked for hot drink in the morning but person in charge could not make simple capicciono

Ottima struttura! A pochi passi dal mare. Rapporto prezzo/qualità ottimo!
