Just came back from turkiye and i got to say this was one of the best hotels me and my wife resided in .the hospitality we Recived was overwhelming. The room was a standard roo. But it look amazing .the staff was polite and courteous a d look after us like we were family .yhe hotel itself was in the heart of the the attraction we needed to visit 2 to 3 min walk away from he Sofia mosquea the blue mosque .the restaurant was on the toop terrace which allows us to have a good view everytine we went up for breakfast In the morning g and dinner at evening. You could see the sea front from where we were and the the Grand bazaar too
The hotel itself was a 6 floor building suited on a corner giving it a perfect view to the city from each angle .would recommend it to other to come and stay .24hours staff availability as u need them

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect — close to everything I needed. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others

Excellent little hotel, right in heart of 'old town' very short walk to Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque, Tokapi Palace, Grand Bazar, museums (Haga Sophia museum definitely worth a visit, not what you expect) and other tourist attractions.

Very clean/tidy and staff could be more helpful.

Breakfast good, if not that diverse. Great views from the breakfast room. Lots of nearby restaurants/shops also transport options to explore further.

Great position with views over Hagia Sophia and the Bosporus. Staff were all exceptional and pleasant. Our room although small , was well equipped. The room was unfortunately overlooking the road and the cars constantly blew horns every evening till late.
The bed was a little hard for our liking, but the sheets and pillows were really good quality and bed was made every day.
Breakfast on the roof terrace was limited , but the views made it worth it.

We really enjoyed our stay ! Road noise excluded.

With a few small improvements it could be sensational.

Staff were welcoming and warm. Rooms were clean. Great breakfast options and incredible view. We were at the top floor, so our bedrooms had excellent views across the city too. They kept our bags for us in the reception after we checked out until our flight too which was great. One drawback was that the bath/shower was part jacuzzi, but the jacuzzi didn’t work and had green mold(?) growing in where the bubbles used to come out. When I had a bath, the green streaked down so it was clearly growing. But that’s a minor issue, loved our stay!

Amazing hotel

We visited Istanbul in June 25.
After checking the good reviews on here and due to its location, we decided to book the Hotel Arden for 7 nights.
We weren’t disappointed. The hotel was great, the staff were all very helpful and nice.
Our room was great and it had a view all the way down to the Mosque and it was interesting to watch the hustle and bustle at times.
We ate out at a lot of different places whilst here, but I have to say, the food we did have at the Arden Hotel was actually the best food we had anywhere.
The hotel’s location is just about perfect for most of the must see tourist attractions. It’s also a quick walk to the nearest tram stop once you work out a useful short cut.
I don’t suppose we will be likely to go back to Istanbul, but if we do we will use this hotel again.

Everything was good, the only thing I'd like to point out is that the room could've been cleaner, not on the surface level, but more like deep cleaning, at least all the doors could be wiped (hand prints and dirt that builds up with time)

The Arden City Hotel is centrally located in the historical centre of Istanbul which makes a great place stay if you want to visit sites such as the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Cagaloglu Hamami and Topkapi Palace. All these sites are within 5mins walk from the hotel.
It’s also very close to restaurants and shops.

The manager & staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs. We were able to get advice on how to get the other key sites such as Galata Bridge which was less than 20 mins walk and Grand Bazaar which was less than 15mins walk.
We were given regular supplies of water and rooms were cleaned daily.

The rooms are a very good size and was clean except for abit of dust. However when we informed reception one of the staff quickly appeared with cleaning equipment to clean up the dust. The rooms are also cleaned everyday.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Arden city hotel and had a great experience.

If you are looking for a hotel in a central location which offers superb service then the Arden City Hotel is for you. It might not be modern but it is certainly clean and spacious and the location puts it in top spot especially if you plan on visiting the famous tourist sites during your visit.

Some tips:

You can buy a tram card at the tram stop behind the hotel for less than £2.50 (130 lira). It’s a very cost efficient way of travelling around Istanbul.

Grand Bazaar was fun to visit but expensive. You can buy things cheaper elsewhere in Istanbul.

It’s roughly 40 -50 min journey from the airport to hotel (vice versa) with no traffic. If you are travelling to the airport in the afternoon/ evening give yourself ample time for travel as traffic is very bad during this period.

Second visit to Arden City Hotel!

We planned a second trip to the beautiful city of Istanbul and only came as we saw the rooms at this hotel where available.
Why?
The staff at Arden have treated us with great compassion on our first visit.
On our second visit we met some new staff and also senior staff who recognised us and welcomed us back.
Arden City Hotel is at an excellent location point.
It has breathtaking views of the Bosphorus from its terrace restraunt where you can enjoy breakfast with a lovely view.
Hagia Sophia is seen beautifully from here.
Grand camcilla in the far distant hills another stunning and enormous mosque.
Galata tower and surrounding areas.
The staff at the hotel are very welcoming. Greeting you and answering questions at the best of their abilities.
I even had an order delivered to the hotel with no issues by the staff and kept safely for me whilst i was out.

Arden City Hotel is a short 10 minutes walk to the grand bazar.
The Sultanhamet tramstop is located near the blue mosque, which is another short journey.

Hagia Sophia is 2 minutes away by foot.

You can walk to the ferries and eygyptian bazar again about 10 minutes away.

This hotel is not only convenient. It has budget friendly prices and amazing staff.
I am writing this on the way to the airport at 6 am. The staff gave me and my wife a sandwich each and some fruits to have for breakfast.
They make you feel more like family, really.

I am confident I will book here again on my next trip to Istanbul, god willing!

I recommend this hotel to my friends and family as much as I recommend it to you.

I always stay here when I come to Istanbul. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The cleanliness is impeccable. The rooms are beautiful and equipped with everything. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace at the top of the hotel is a special experience, there is a wide selection. The location is perfect. I recommend it to everyone.

It was cozy, clean and staff was absolutely wonderful. Omer, Ozgur, Baris, Bulut, Abidin and Mine treated us so well, we felt like royalty. They were so professional and easy to talk. This was one of the best staff that we have encountered in all our travels! Kudos/bravo!! Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!!

Arden city hotel offers an exceptional experience for guests, including those who travel from afar such as London. The staff is commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, with special recognition given to Omar for his outstanding recommendations. This hotel comes highly recommended.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and it's location was super in the heart of al-Fatih district, but it's most prominent feature was it's family-like, friendly, and exceptionally caring and cooperating staff.
While enjoying it's satisfying breakfast, we were also enjoying the view which included three of Istanbul's most famous, Sultan Ahmad Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Golden Horn. This was not our first time in Istanbul, but it was our first time in the hotel, and we will not hesitate to go back to the same pleasant experience once and again.

A wonderful hotel in an ideal location, a short walk away from the major historical attractions. The staff were professional and very helpful, especially Ozgur & Omar who helped with any queries we had and greeted us with a welcoming smile every time we came back to the hotel. The hotel restaurant on the terrace had amazing views of the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Bosporus River. The chef Memet was always happy to cook something at request exactly how we wanted it. Mineh was very attentive and polite. Thankyou for the hospitality.

Everything was great, especially the hotel's location and the attitude of the hotel staff. Only during our stay, they were installing sensors and fire alarm buttons, which was annoying due to the sound of the workers' drills (maybe this will have stopped during your stay), but since the hotel's location was great, I wasn't bothered by the noise pollution at all.

Staff is unique! Excellent attention. Totally supportive. Since breakfast, attention from Mine. Ozgur at the reception area who guides and provide support in a great manner. Cleaning is excellent! The hotel is close to transportation and very good places to eat. Also, the hotel is close to Basilic cistern, Hagya Sophia and Blue Mosque. I feel as at home with all attention from staff. Definitely I will be back to this hotel. I am very thankful to all! !!🫶💕❤️
