Very good value for money - the stay exceeded my expectations.
Pros:

The room was a good size, the bathroom was great, and everything was very clean. The room service food was very nice, too. The staff were professional and helpful.

Cons:

The only complaint was the limited (and cramped) overnight parking. Oh, and one small point - to only find two tea bags in the room was a little disappointing.

Overall very good but just a few little things need sorting
Pros:

Reception staff on check-in & throughout our stay was excellent

Cons:

Phone in room would not ring reception when button was pressed. Other room had no phone .No ironing board in our room Ate in restaurant & some of food in evening was not good . Onion rings brought to us & was visible that they were severely over cooked but still served.

Perfect, would go back
Pros:

Everything was great. Room was clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked. Parking situation was very convenient being through the underpass and directly opposite hotel. Slept very well. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice.

Cons:

There wasnt anything to dislike about our experience.

Excellent value for money. Modern hotel
Pros:

Clean, modern, good location, fantastic breakfast

Cons:

Broken hairdryer. Switch broken off and circuitry visible. Would have failed any PAT test on visible inspection alone. Cleaner did dispose of it and replace (but after my hair had already dried naturally). Stevenage is not the most exciting of places.

Lovely quality hotel
Pros:

When needing a hotel near London we normally stay in the holiday inn express but on this occasion it was not available but the holiday inn was which I knew was only a couple of minutes longer walk from the station than the express. As we arrived the receptionist was very friendly and we noticed the quality of the fixtures and fittings straight away. The room was well appointed and the air conditioning very efficient (which was good as we had been travelling all day and we stayed here to split the journey home staying here). Whilst we did not use the restaurant for an evening meal i did use the bar and the server was friendly and efficient and the drinks reasonably priced (for the London area). The bed was very comfortable and we got a really good night's sleep. The quality of all of the items for breakfast was very good and gave us a great start to the day and our last leg of our journey home. We will definitely be back

Awesome. Would stay again.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Food was really good. Nice location. Very accessible. Clean. And pretty quiet.

Cons:

The price was too much. Paid nearly 700euros between two persons for just two nights.
