Lovely hotel, incredible breakfast
Pros:

Charming hotel and perfect for the setting.

Exceptional breakfast, don’t let the small menu fool you! The chef has a Michelin background and it shows, I didn’t know oats could be that good!

Pros:

Nice hot tub, good food, big room, efficient, friendly staff, good location. Dog friendly

Cons:

Exterior building needs paintwork. DSTV in the room doesn't have sport channel
Dog friendly is R300 per night which is not advertised on Booking.com

Gute Lage, toller Seeblick, gute Ausstattung, sehr gutes Restaurant.

Cons:

Aufenthalt während des südafrikanischen Winters. Die Unterkunft hatte keine richtige Heizung, nur so Heizplatten, die mit Strom betrieben wurden und wenig Wärme abgaben, Fenster mit Einmalverglasung, nicht richtig zu schließen . Dementsprechend war es in der Wohnung kalt.
Wir hatten uns sehr auf die Benutzung des zu dem Zimmer gehörenden Hotpot gefreut. Das Wasser hierfür wurde durch eine Art Kamin erhitzt, leider funktionierte das gar nicht. Das Personal war nicht in der Lage, das Problem zu beheben und das Wasser blieb kalt.

Pros:

Établissement plein de charme, un personnel, adorable, et le restaurant, rattaché à l’hôtel : digne d’un étoilé à un prix plus que raisonnable, avec un chef français et sa femme Sud africaine , adorable.
Un rapport/qualité excellent.
Si nous revenons en Afrique du Sud, nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

A great place to visit around the year
Pros:

We have been at the hotel many times and will return.
Home baked scones on the terrace at arrival. I loved the hot tub! Soccer World Cup- therefore the DSTV-Sports channels were appreciated! Breakfast and dinner at Le Petit Maison - the hotel restaurant was very sophisticated and very delicious. Wonderful service with attention to details. A perfect place for special moments to celebrate.
