Everything staff was rude the place is in the ghetto n stunk from high heaven ,but wat do expect it's foreign owned n they all have a smell
The hotel is located around high prostitution area (assuming). Met with a man and three women hanging out close to.property. Located off of 412, it is a highly residential area.
My room was infested with Nats in the bathroom. Hotel provided me with a can of raid.
It was a place to sleep...
I got stuck inside the elevator...had to call online service to contact the front desk...non functioning water fountain outside the pool...was told if I needed water I needed to purchase bottle water for the hotel lobby... no refrigerator in the room
First of all I am an experienced traveler I rarely get bad reviews almost never and I always read the fine print! I received correspondence after making the reservation from both booking.com and the La Quinta property itself. Never was a security deposit mentioned. I read everything very carefully and I had exactly enough money budgeted for my trip. I get there ready to check in at 1500 have my reservation on my phone just in case they need to check it and they inform me my card declined because there was a $50 security deposit!! I said that was never mentioned to me and besides that I pulled out my phone and I showed them the letter not from booking but from them that showed my total charge was 105. Even with evidence clearly presented they never told me about this charge they still refused to let me check in unless I was willing to pay it and I did not have the money I had not budgeted for that!
Just honesty in booking cost! I don't care if you have a million dollars in deposits and fees that's your prerogative but don't hide it until the person walks into the property and the person has actual correspondence from the property itself not mentioning them.
Breakfast was not up to par. Go look at Holiday Inn Express for overall cleanliness & breakfast. Way better than La Quinta.
Won’t stay again.
The room had 2 beds as requested.
The shower handkerchief was difficult to turn. The humidity in the room made the carpet sticky. The humidity in the hall made the carpet smell soured.
Nice people work there.
Homeless people everywhere and the elevator didn’t work.
I wasn't expecting a five star meal obviously but it was OK. just not cooked fully and saltless
the smell around the whole building definitely could of been better for sure. maybe language barrier but no eye contact and short answer threw me off. my lock didn't exactly lock, if you push it it would of open.
