A good hotel / self catering hybrid with a great pool
Pros:

The hotel was perfect for us as we booked an apartment and could cook for ourselves, although breakfast was also included and was pretty good! The location was a little out of town but had great views and our dive center was based at the hotel. We didn’t know that when we booked but it made everything very easy! The staff were super helpful and the pool area and jacuzzi were great.

Cons:

It is a little dated in parts but scrupulously clean so not work out. We did struggle with plug sockets. Some new outlets near the beds would help!

Trotz kleiner Widrigkeiten ein insgesamt gelungener und entspannter Gesamtaufenthalt!
Pros:

Sehr geräumiges Apartment mit tollen großen Balkonfenstern mit Blick auf das Meer und den tollen Sonnenuntergängen (zumindest in den oberen beiden Stockwerken)!
Toller Poolbereich mit einem extra angrenzenden warmwasser Whirlpool. Genügend Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten im Außenbereich der Terrasse und dem Innenbereich bei der Bar.
Kostenloses Billard- und Tischtennisspiel möglich. Drei lustige Spiele auf dem Fernseher entdeckt und abends gerne gespielt . ;)
Leckeres und vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet! Freundliches Personal und eine extrem süße Hotelkatze namens "Kitty"! :)

Cons:

Teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen: einige Flurfenster waren "blind", Roststellen an manchen Bodenleibungen, gepflasterte Zufahrt an einigen Stellen extrem uneben; das traurigste aber war in unserem Apartment Nummer 220, dass sich die Balkonschiebetüren im Schlafzimmer nicht öffnen ließen und wir somit dort nicht richtig lüften konnten. Im angrenzenden Wohnzimmer war es zum Glück kein Problem, dort gab es zusätzlich auch noch eine Klimaanlage. Auch die Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien war etwas dürftig: es gab nur zwei relativ kleine Töpfe im Stil eines einfachen "Camping-Alublech-Materials" und die einzige - recht kleine - Pfanne war in der Beschichtung total zerkratzt, sodass wir sie unter gesundheitlichen Gesichtspunkten nicht nutzen konnten. Unter Nachfrage konnte uns leider auch keine bessere zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Paisible, agréable et très propre.
Pros:

La disposition de l’hôtel nous permettait d’avoir accès à plusieurs choses. Pour visiter la ville, c’est extrêmement important d’avoir une voiture. C’était propre, facile d’accès et la piscine très bien entretenue.

Muito boa opção em Santa Maria
Pros:

Ainda que a localização não seja central, é suficientemente perto da Vila do Porto, e tem muito estacionamento. O pessoal é simpático e disponível! O quarto é espaçoso e tem todas as comodidades necessárias para uma boa estadia. A cama era enorme! A vista também é muito agradável. O pequeno-almoço tem muita variedade e produtos de qualidade. Voltaríamos a ficar alojados no Colombo, sem dúvida!

Cons:

Nada de relevante. Alguns equipamentos dos quartos já denotam algum desgaste, mas nada que prejudique a experiência.

Big rooms, very big and comfortable bed, clean structure, view of the ocean, breakfast, parking, air conditioning, wifi.

Cons:

Distance from center (25 minutes walk or 6 euros taxi) without shuttle service offered, absence of restaurant or decent food (bar offering very cheap snacks and frozen meals only) with the exception of the breakfast, overall dated structure needing renovation.

Ein tolles Erlebnis auf einer gewaltigen Insel.
Pros:

Umfangreiches Frühstück, Badetücher sind gegen Kaution an der Rezeption erhältlich. Tv im Zimmer vorhanden, in den Sprachen Portugisisch und Englisch.
