Nice rooms, centrally located and excellent service. Attentive staff and an excellent stay with the St Regis butler service a super experience
Friendliness of staff. The room with 24-hour butler service was phenomenal. Good food. The rooms were very quiet, too.
I have no complaints.
We absolutely loved the St. Regis in CDMX with one glaring exception -- the glass bathroom doors! The service was impeccable, the beds comfortable, the concierge worked magic to get us great seats at an event. Breakfast every morning was a fresh and hot delight.
But, what's not delightful is having absolutely no privacy in the bathroom. The bathroom doors are glass and they are not opaque. They're frosted, but it's very easy to see through them and that makes for some very awkward moments. My husband was trying to shower when room service arrived. He ended up huddled in the tub trying to push himself as far into a corner as possible because there was literally nowhere else in in the room he could go to not be visible by the staff bringing the food. The toilet in our room is in the main bathroom area -- visible. The shower? No door, just an alcove. Visible though the glass. We were traveling with teens and the connecting door is right across from the shower door. Everything is visible.
I'd go back in a heartbeat if it was just me. With others? Unfortunately, no.
A classic in Reforma.
_Rooms are nice, linens are solid, service overall is great.
_Breakfast is not the best (food is a bit disappointing across the board).
_Great location, rooms, options. It’s always busy, but it doesn’t feel that way.
_Good wine selection (an oddity in the area).
_Probably the best hotel gym in CDMX (and top 10 in the world). A solid spa; pool is just OK.
_Eventful: there is always something going on—busy, but not in a negative way.
_Reliable stay. On a recent trip, we switched from the Ritz to St. Regis after a weekend in Valle. Lesson learned.
Amazing experience, exquisite drinks, attentive service and a wonderful view of "Reforma Avenue" in México City 🇲🇽😉
This was my second stay at the St Regis and I still find it to be a great choice.
Highlight of this place is the impeccable service, great butler service with free coffee and ironing services. Room was very nice and clean with separate tub and shower.
Great gym as well.
El servicio excelente
Los restaurantes del hotel muy recomendados como el ANIMAL
La habitación excelente
Muy linda vista
Todo excelente ningún comentario malo
La gente muy amable y dispuesta para todo
Outstanding place to spend with your family , the staff brought me a cake and gloves for my birthday , pool was amazing with views of the city.
Diana’s restaurant was amazing and we go for the news eve celebration every year
Spa is one of my favorite places in the world
I was a little surprised by the hotel in comparison to the other St. Regis Hotel I stayed at. The lobby is less impressive and the staff is not as attentive as the hotel in Asia. The rooms are also a little smaller and butler service is a little less attentive. Great location in Reforma, close to Roma Norte and Polanco by walking.
I stayed from August 2-9, 2025, in a Junior Suite. It was a little more than I'd wanted to spend on the room, but (in my opinion) ended up being very much worth it. I'm Lifetime Titanium with Marriott, and though I wasn't offered an upgrade, the room was still fantastic.
The hotel itself is wonderful, though the style is starting to show just a little bit of age (lots of wood paneling in the rooms, carpeting choices, etc). I did very much enjoy the rainfall shower, but was puzzled by the tub (it's awkwardly positioned in the bathroom, and didn't get much light). Honestly, these are minor nitpicks. Where the hotel truly shines is in its service. The St. Regis prides itself on its service, and this hotel is no exception. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome and "at home." When seeing you, every staff member, regardless of who they are, will stop what they are doing and greet you with a big smile. And every night, you are treated to a spectacular ceremony where the butlers will "saber" champagne for the guests.
The location can't be beat--it's one of the main reasons I chose the hotel--it's almost directly next to Chapultepec Forest, which gets you within walking distance of Chapultepec Castle (the National History Museum), the Anthropology Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art. If you're a runner, the forest also offers fantastic trails and the concierge at the hotel can help with recommendations. The hotel is *not* near the traditional "touristy" areas (e.g., the Zócalo), but it is just north of Roma/Condesa, which tends to be fairly Anglicized, offering a range of fantastic rooftop bars and restaurants.
I loved the in-hotel restaurant *so much* that I ended up eating there fairly frequently, and I highly, highly recommend the short rib tacos (though if you ask the servers, they will also recommend getting one of each kind). The bar is one of my favorite places to have a cocktail, read a book, or just people-watch--and there's almost always something going on. When the weather is pleasant (which is almost always is) they will open up the glass doors and you can enjoy the breeze on the terrace.
The fitness center, pool, and spa are located on the top floor, and provide commanding views of a good portion of the valley. You can see the mountains and enjoy the skyline while (if you're anything like me, and live at sea level) huffing and puffing your way through a workout.
One minor point worth noting; I enjoyed my room and the view it offered of the Diana Fountain, as well as a glimpse of the Angel of Independence, but be aware that hotel rooms facing the roundabout by the fountain will experience more late-night traffic noise than the other side of the hotel. I can't say it ruined any nights of sleep, but I did wake up a few times to loud horns, revving engines, and any other of the sounds of a busy city.
I would love to return and stay here again.
From start to finish, this was sone of the best hotel stays we have ever had as a family. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and our son’s birthday and the staff made it one of the most memorable experiences we could have had. Given the care and hospitality of the team, I have no doubt we would have received the same treatment if we’d been there on a random weekend getaway and not celebrating something special. The breakfast was out of the world and the room was so comfortable we never wanted to leave. But outside your door are so many sights and great restaurants that you feel compelled to actually get out of your robe and put on real clothes every once in a while. Thanks for an amazing stay! We will be back!
I absolutely loved my stay at the St. Regis Mexico City. The butlers were amazing — courteous, prompt, and always one step ahead. They even unpacked for me and made sure management knew if I needed anything. The rest of the staff were so kind and helpful. My room was enormous and beautifully done. The hotel’s location was perfect. It was just a short walk to affordably priced restaurants. It was a super experience I’ll remember for a long time.
