Nice hotel, aimed at businesses for conferencing and weddings. Polite, efficient staff.
Pros:

Spacious hotel and room. Well appointed room with shower and bath. Efficient and courteous staff. Location was ok, 15-25 mins to bars and restaurants (not bad in the Jakarta traffic!)

Cons:

Although the room was clean, the bathroom edges and corners were not great, plus the bath had black mould around the top edges. I asked for it to be cleaned (twice) but this was not done. All it needed was some bleach, so that was disappointing. Lacked sufficient parking space and think they should not have charged us as we stayed 3 nights.

Pros:

The location is convenient, with easy access to the subway, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The main function of a hotel is to provide a comfortable place to relax and sleep, but the room did not meet that expectation. The facilities need maintenance and renovation. Most of the equipment in the room was out of order, and one of the light bulbs was not working. The temperature panel was not working.

Pros:

Excellent location in Jakarta

Cons:

Outdated, mouldy, odorous room and an extremely uncomfortable bed mattress. Lobby bar service was extremely poor with me being forgotten for 45 minutes hoping to order food when there were only 6 other patrons (already served) in Solo

Pros:

Breakfast could be better. Last year breakfast was excellent and was served at Bagawan Solo Restaurant. The environment was better and more cosy but now its seems a bit dull for this new location

Don't like the new breakfast area, and no business centre
