Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino

The hotel is fine.it was clean and comfortable. My boys loved the waterslide. There is nothing around this hotel in walking distance, so we ate at the onsite family restaurant. The food was good and the atmosphere was ok. Kind of felt like we were at banquet tables. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We always value our family trips at this hotel, especially after a ski day at Nakiska. The service is great, rooms are clean and our favorite is how professional and positive Haroune and his staff are! 😀

A huge thank you to Haroune for helping us out. I somehow managed to book only one night instead of two and somehow that booking was not through their website. Long story short, I was scammed through booking.com and paid in American dollars. He truly made it easy for us to switch that booking to the nights we actually required and upgraded our room at a discounted rate for the troubles.

Staff and casino personnel were super friendly and kind. Food was delicious! Overall great experience! Although rooms were pricey and some shortcomings, still satisfied. Haroune checked us in and was kind and friendly!

Very nice stuff and convenient

Close to nature get-aways but not too far from Calgary.

Love the mountain view! The food at the restaurant was excellent! The noise of the guests by the pool area and along the hallway was terrible.

The casino was an electrifying light show for us, as we had not seen a casino before. The food was excellent.

Check in was a bit annoying because you literally had to wait until 4. Not a second earlier.
However, rest of stay was great. Rooms need an upgrade-but a really nice stay. Would stay there again.

Parking was at your own risk

Room was not overly Clean. Asked for the Maid to clean my room but came back that evening and it wasn't touched. Went to front desk and was advised that I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door at 11:15 a.m. I said Yes, I took it down at 11:45 when we left the Hotel. The maid was doing the room across from me when I asked her to do my room. He said it's your word against hers and the sign at 11:15 said do not disturb. I explained again when I left the room and discussion I had with the maid. Pretty much called me a Lier when he turrned and walked away Oct 7 / 2025 evening. The front desk lady asked if she could get me anything. I asked for coffee and sugar. She politely got items and apologized for the other front desks staff behavior. Won't ever Return!!

It was good for what I needed

Good place, motorbike parking available for free for 2 nights, only 15 per night after. No hookups but still a good deal and a very nice place. Around at the front desk was very nice, as well as the rest of the staff.

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel itself was great, but what really made the difference was the exceptional service from the receptionists, Haroune and Mourad. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. Their warm welcome and helpful attitude made me feel truly valued as a guest.
Highly recommend this place — especially thanks to Haroune and Mourad for their outstanding hospitality!

We experiences a very welcoming, accommodating staff. Really enjoyed our stay. Just has trouble with the TV, other than that we enjoyed it.

The staff were the silver lining to this hotel. Everyone was super friendly.

However, the cost of the hotel did not match what you get. The rooms are very overpriced for cheap toiletries, uncomfortable beds and linens
