Seacrest Beach Hotel

The name of the hotel is the Seacrest Beach Hotel but there is virtually no beach and what was there was covered in garbage. A huge Styrofoam block rotting on the sand. One of the workers spent a whole day mowing the stupid lawn where no one was and NEVER went 4 more feet to the beach to clean up the garbage. When we confronted the desk staff they all looked at us like we were speaking another language even after I mentioned that THEY LIVE HERE and should not want all that garbage going back into the water with the next rain. There is a lovely pool BUT only two lounge chairs for the whole hotel -and one of them was broken! ALSO THERE IS NO BAR and the restaurant is only open if you order a meal the day before. There are other restaurants in the area but they are not within walking distance and getting on and off the main road is almost impossible at night. It's really too bad since the Villa we stayed in was beautiful clean and comfortable but I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Amenities needs upgrading otherwise its was quiet, clean, easily accessible to the town area. Staff was courteous

Price was reasonable and included breakfast. Staff members were cordial. The common beach area had a lot of debris and driftwood that need to be cleared. Not sure if it’s the property’s responsibility

Basic hotel but you get what you pay for and breakfast is included.

The property seems very outdated and needs to to be updated to have a more modern look and feel. The furnitures were very old and cracked. The bathroom faucets didn't work as they should and the toilet you had to flush multiple times before it would do what it is suppose to do in one flush. The breakfast items was basically a choice of 3 different things, The only thing good about this place was the nice housekeeper I think she is an amazing woman.

The property is easy to find, staff is very helpful, great location also great if you’re traveling on a budget.

Beautiful place that is stuck in the 80's. Its clean but could do with a much need facelift.

It was exactly what I was looking for! I was traveling solo and I got a nice room, , great location next to Plantation Cove and it had a pool and was right on the water. Super nice staff!

Supervisor could be a bit more customer friendly and informative. Now.

This hotel was booked for my team, who were handling a project in the area. We checked in late, to rooms where absolutely nothing worked. The beds were twin beds and the rooms are very small you can hardly walk in the room. There were roches in rooms, in the pool and all over. The ac did not work in over 9 of the rooms that were booked and in some cases we were offered fan that were rusting and dilapidated to cool the room. The front desk agent, Kennisha, had an attitude, as we were inconveniencing her and her shift was up and she wanted to go home. I had to insist that she did whatever was necessary to make my team comfortable. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

The 1st room they put me in, the bathroom shower was so small I keep bumping my knee against the shower taps. The 2nd room also issue with the bathroom, there was no shower head, so the water keeps coming at you like one o those high power hose you wold use to clean the side walk

Beach locked because of sargasso although neighbouring beaches were clean, so not sure why the hotel wasn't able to clean its beach.

Proximity to main road is convenient but also the source of constant traffic noise.

The room was clean and the staff at the hotel were kind and helpful. Seacrest is not a luxury hotel but felt safe it was great value for money. It is in a good location. I just felt very welcomed by the staff: Donovan, Teneshia, Miss Gloria and Karell. I hope to visit again and recommend this hotel to other visitors who prefer a more laid back and authentic experience of Jamaica than some of the all inclusive resorts.
