Sonder The Wellesley

Great stay for a Solo Traveller. Can’t beat the location , across the street from the Subway station.

Overall was good for the price. Only things I did not consider was how small it was and the bed was not what me and my girlfriend are use to. The location was great, easy access, and felt safe. No mini fridge is not something we would do again.

Great hotel, very easy to check in and access! Communication was great.

This was a brilliant location for the subway, for shops & restaurants. Easy to get around Toronto. The entry was easy, the room was warm & beautifully clean with hot water, clean towels & excellent WiFi. The downside was that we were on the first floor with a heavy case to carry up. Not easy for two people in their seventies! Although the room was well equipped & comfortable there was only 1 hard back chair to sit on. Leaving only the bed to relax on. However the fact that it is a city centre location & the room was excellent otherwise we would visit again but ask for a ground floor room. Although we would still prefer another chair! The luggage room was on the lower floor which necessitated another long flight of stairs to store & regain luggage.

Beautiful little room in a well kept building. Great location. Will stay again.

This was my first time at the Sonder property so it was a bit strange to be in a hotel without any staff! But it worked out very well and everything was very clean and quiet. And they had supplies available when you ran out of things. Including coffee!

I was in room 301 and I would suggest it needs a small bedside table on the other side of the bed with a table lamp instead of a floor lamp. Otherwise, all good.

Great hide away in a busy city. Pretty design in the room and all amenities available.
Across the street from the subway, next to two pubs and other businesses, coffee shop on the corner.


Will go back again.

We had a great stay. Location was central, allowing us to walk to just about anything. Rooms were nice and very clean.

The app communications system was great. We arrived a day late due to a delayed flight and also had issues accessing the luggage locker on the day of check out (user error, not Sonder's fault). In both cases, I was able to get on the app and have my concern addressed in minutes.

The radiator in the room did not work but there was a fan/heater so I was able to keep warm.

The lights were too dim, even I opened all the lights, the room was still dark. The hair dryer was so weak to dry hair. Fans were not working, the area was too noisy, you need to close all the windows . Otherwise, it’s good.

Wish there would have been more towels/ wash cloths available for us to use.

I was in the basement of the building and it was quite loud. The train runs underneath every 3-5 ish minutes until 2am. You can hear every footstep in the apartment above. Not a deal breaker but good to know if you’re sensitive to noise. The TV didn’t work with their Roku setup. The space did its job but nothing to write home about.

The Sonder Wellesley was a great choice. It was cozy and very noticeable in a vibrant community. There are transportation options right across the street. The neighborhood is full of life both day and night. My room was very quaint, quiet, and clean. Overall, my stay was perfect.

Good, clean stay for the price. Location was an easy walk to the Mars District and had lots of good food options.

The location was very convenient to the metro. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed as a base for our adventures.

This is a stinky basement unit. It is right over the subway line. Hence very noisy.

Maybe because we are not too much to date with technology, we could not find the enter code of the building since it was not showing on our confirmation communication. We got help from an outside person...Other than that, the room was to our complete satisfaction.
