Wir hatten ein großes, blitzsauberes Zimmer und Bad. Frühstück war sehr gut und hat voll entsprochen.
Wir hatten Glück, dass relativ wenig Pubbetrieb war und wir in Ruhe abends essen und trinken konnten.
Leider war keine Klimaanlage vorhanden; nur ein Luftreiniger/Ventilator. Das Frühstück war nur bis 8.30 möglich.
Very clean. Lovely shower. Good evening meal. Eggs and toast for breakfast good. Lovely old pub.
Bed too low. Noisy road junction after 6am.
No fresh milk at breakfast so no tea,coffee and cereal.
Breakfast times on week-days till 8.30. Too early if you are on holiday time.
Really lovely place spotlessly clean and staff couldnt of been anymore welcoming. I'm writing this review months after myself and partner spent the night because I thought I'd already done this...but needless to say I would absolutely go again .! 👍
Nothing it was perfect!
Great location, nice big room and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Pub restaurant was excellent and had a lovely space for outdoor dining.
Room was incredibly hot, we thought we had an air con unit but turned out to be an air purifier.
A choice of toast at breakfast would be good. Only white sliced offered.
We were going to the races and so we were able to get a cab fairly easily into town. It is a lovely building and the atmosphere on Saturday evening was vibrant.
The booking of our table on the Saturday evening seemed a little haphazard, as it appeared we were waiting for a spare table rather than having a reservation.

EV charger in the carpark very challenging to use.

The location and that we could charge our ecar
the heating & water systems were faulty, so our room was too hot to sleep in and the water was freezing cold, too cold to shower in, so no sleep and smelly bodies!
Also, on arrival at 1045 (after a very long day) the barman was not going to serve us drinks until persuaded by a local that he should do so.
The main surprise was the restaurant has great food and fine dining service. The menu incudes all of the usual choices + a few you would not expect such as a section of Indian cuisine which was very popular. Breakfast was very good. The wine list included a lot of european wines which is a bonus for us as we have found more and more being shipped half way around the world when we have the best wines here in europe.

Everything was amazing,location ,appearance ,facilities but most of all the hospitality and the helpfulness .Made you feel so at ease and like one of family or closest friends .Highly recommend will definitely return .Breakfast was amazing
Great oldey pub. Love the decor and ambience. Only spent one night. Room was very warm, but did have an air conditioning unit, which I did have to use. It had a low hum. Had an en-suite bathroom. I’m aware can’t be helped but took me ages to get to sleep because of this. The window opened to the main road, but luckily not too much traffic at night. Breakfast was good. All staff helpful and professional.
As above -very warm room. I wouldn’t stay there at the height of summer. And humming/water running type noise, next to my room.
Lovely country pub. Easy check in and really nice rooms, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.
