New York Hilton needs remodeling
Pros:

We are frequent Hilton Honors users and I was so disappointed in this Hilton. The room was so disappointing, the window shade didn't work, the elevators were horrible, there was no coffee or microwave in the room and the concierge people acted like they wanted to talk amongst themselves and not even acknowledge me as I was waiting there. The huge positive of this hotel was William and Winston, the Bellmen. They were extremely helpful with finding city locations and giving advice.

Wonderful hotel in amazing location
Pros:

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Ovie and his team at the door were so kind and we just lived chatting to them. The reception staff were polite and professional.

Second Home
Pros:

Great location, good mattress, nice towels, fluffy robes (sometimes, not every time), friendly staff, decent elevators. After staying in tiny, noisy rooms elsewhere in NYC, this place is a welcome treat. Happy to be a Hilton Club member.
