Mixed - beautiful place - issues with service and taxi
Pros:

Mixed experience
Hotel is in a beautiful place with views over the sea
Our first room was rustic and a little dated made worse by the mosquitoes (the cleaners left the doors open) we moved to a much more swish room (9) modern and luxurious
Breakfast was good, lunch fabulous - caprese and pasta but they didn’t serve dinner
Reception friendly especially on check in when they wanted us to book a boat tour
A bit disorganised on check out and on booking a dinner reservation for us which never happened
We ended on a negative with taxi driver trying to rip us off Big row- despite us booking taxi through hotel to avoid complications
Probably wouldn’t stay there again

Paradise!
Pros:

This place is paradise on earth! Such a beautiful location, with terraced gardens that create stunning photo opportunities around every corner as a frame to amazing sea views. I cannot praise the staff - from the top down - highly enough. So friendly and helpful. As an odd numbered friend group, we really appreciated the upgrade to a suite for three of us, and the way the hotel was incredibly accommodating to all our needs. Breakfast and lunch was always delicious with loads of choice. I cannot wait to come back! Thank you Christian and all the Belvedere staff.

Classy, charming, 'Perfetto!'
Pros:

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the beautiful, peaceful Villa Belvedere for four nights at the end of May, visiting with four girlfriends. It was so welcoming from the very start, with prosecco on arrival, an introduction to the local sights with a map and recommendations. The manager gave us a fantastic upgrade so that three friends could share a spacious suite together. Every member of staff we met was warm and attentive, with a friendly "Buongiorno!": we felt like family. No request was too much, from making restaurant reservations to answering questions about the original artworks. From the balcony of my room on the top floor, we had a stunning view of the sea, Naxos Bay and the snow capped craters of Mount Etna. The hotel has terraces and delightful gardens brimming with flowers and trees offering shade so it was possible to find a tranquil spot, however hot the sun. We spent our days relaxing by the pool, enjoying the freshly cooked lunches from the pool side restaurant and then exploring the pretty, bustling streets of Taormina. Another bonus of the hotel is its location: we were able to walk to the neighbouring botanic gardens, an array of shops and restaurants and the famous amphitheatre whilst staying in a haven of calm each night. I can't give the hotel a bigger compliment than saying I'm already planning a return visit to this classy, charming corner of Taormina!

Piece of paradise
Pros:

I’ve just had the absolute pleasure of staying at this charming hotel. From the moment of arrival it was clear that this place puts guest experience as a top priority. Service is faultlessly warm and courteous, with nothing too much trouble for the team. The ambience is calm, relaxing, understated elegance in impeccable taste from furnishings to decor and home comforts such as interesting bookshelves and cosy nooks to relax in. The bedroom was spotless, refreshed daily and with a balcony view that took our breath away every time we stepped out onto it. We loved the pool, with sun loungers surrounded by lush gardens all cared for and bursting with flowers, scented Jasmine and fruit trees, with the bar serving light bites and delicious pasta dishes, meat or fish and tasty desserts at lunchtime. The breakfast set is up for the day and had a fantastic, generous range of meats, fruits, pastries and savoury items accompanied by fresh juices and coffees or tea. Villa Belvedere is perfectly situated to easily explore the delightful town of Taormina on foot. Not cheap, but worth every penny in my view and I cannot wait to return to Signor Pecaut’s beautifully run little corner of paradise! Highly recommended without a shred of hesitation- quite simply the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

An Absolute Gem in Sicily!
Pros:

The staff here truly understand hospitality. Every team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering fantastic local recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed with a genuine smile.

If you love climbing, there are fantastic climbing areas located incredibly close to the hotel. It was so convenient to head out for a day on the rock and return to total comfort.

The most wonderful place to stay!
Pros:

This review really doesn't do the Hotel Villa Belvedere justice!
We visited for four nights and and five days at the end of May and from the moment we arrived, the welcome and attention to our party given, by every member of staff, was second to none.
The hotel and gardens are like being dropped into paradise. Everything is immaculate, charming and beautiful. The pool and poolside food is fabulous. We were treated as though our visit really mattered by all of the lovely staff. I have visited many times over the years and all those who have been with me have also made return visits. The manager upgraded our room and extended our checkout time and could not have done more to make our visit perfect. Thank you, we look forward to our next visit.

Top Quality!
Pros:

We all had the best time at Hotel Villa Belvedere.
The rooms we had here were excellently equipped, were very spacious and perfect for what we needed.
The beds were comfy, our terrace (being in room 65) was fantastic and everything felt luxurious.
The staff at the bar/reception couldn’t be more helpful and attentive.
The breakfast here was delicious, and the staff (particularly Rita, Ludmilla and Elena) were exceptionally warm and kind.
The poolside was well done and the food and drink was lovely by there too.
Everything here was top quality and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more if people are to stay in Taormina.

Staff Made IT!
Pros:

This is a lovely hotel! The rooms are comfy, the views of the Mediterranean fantastic and all the facilities (pool, breakfast - such a range!, lunch facilities) are 5-star quality. Food is delicious. However, the staff is what makes this hotel stand out. From when we were greeted by Marco, given welcome drinks by Ludmilla and served everyday with such warmth by Rita and Elena: this hotel went above and beyond. All of the staff at the reception, at the bar and around the hotel are attentive and helpful. We really can’t wait to returj again. Thank you, Hotel Villa Belvedere!

Good relaxing place with amazing views
Pros:

Very good hotel if on the expensive side. Pool area and food around the pool a big plus. Sort out your parking before you go there as to park at the hotel is mega expensive.

The Hôtel Belvédère was an absolute 10/10 experience from start to finish.
Pros:

The Hôtel Belvédère was an absolute 10/10 experience from start to finish. This is a truly authentic hotel, perfectly located, with a beautiful garden that makes for a lovely setting to unwind. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh, generous, and a real highlight of each morning. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care for guests is something many hotels could only dream of. We left feeling genuinely looked after, and we will absolutely be coming back!

Cons:

Nothing
