The location , how easy it was to check in and check out. That was the only thing I liked about this hotel.
The front desk lady was always on her phone in front of guest. When we came down for dinner she was still there on the phone talking to someone she knows. When we asked for help opening the gym she said it was broken but the weights so it’s locked. I asked about it and she said again it was broken. When you open the door and check ( I couldn’t ) nothing had a “ broken or maintenance needed “. It felt very lazy like she didn’t want to do her job. The lady checking us out was a diffrent lady and she tried to tag on a pet fee when there was no pet in the room. The lady claimed to have seen an animal coming out of my room on the surveillance cameras when I confirmed and was willing to show her the room never had an animal as apart of the stay. She was trying to get extra money out of me and it felt very dishonest.
The location is good.
Property is “100% non smoking” but yet the area for smokers is literally right outside the front door so when walking in or out you’re literally walking through smoke. Our floor also reeked of marijuana. We wouldn’t stay here again.
The hotel was very run down, pool wasn't working, ice machines on each floor not working, hotel staff not very friendly, curtains in shower all ripped, the curtains on widow were so dirty We have been to other country inns that are very nice that is why we chose this chain We would appreciate a full refund. everything
Quiet
Need better breakfast; room 419 door needs to be fixed
Clean comfortable rooms
Mini fridge made a chirping noise, but it worked fine
Delicious breakfast, clean facilities and good location with an affordable nightly rate.
Pool was closed, only front door as entrance and bed was more firm than desired.
Location
There is a sign indicating that smoking is not allowed, yet my floor smelled like marijuana/cbd. It was very disappointing that the hotel could not enforce its own policy.
The ONLY reason we picked this hotel was for the pool. We called ahead TWICE to make sure the pool was open. The second time was 30 minutes before we checked in. When we got there the pool was CLOSED for our entire stay. Very disappointing. Room had an old smell and were dingy
This location is perfect off the highway when traveling. And very comfortable and quiet. The rooms are huge!
We found the parking difficult at this hotel. We arrived later so needed to park at the back of the building. But you could only enter through the main door we were told l. There is exit doors we could use in the morning closer to the car though. So to unload when we arrived later and my husband had to walk around the whole building with our bags to enter at the front.
At night building was plenty lit. Plenty spaces to park. Breakfast was good.
Our 1st room the door didt lock correctly but was able switch rooms. Pool was not heated.
Clean
Great location, only 15 minutes to downtown Knoxville. Close to many food options. Beds were very comfortable and staff was exceptional.
The only thing worth mentioning is the price being reasonable and it being minutes from downtown. I will say the staff was friendly.
It was not as clean as the pictures, there were stains, grime, and we had a faulty shower that leaked and sprayed everywhere. The carpet throughout the halls were so dirty, coming up, and stained. The indoor pool was FREEZING. The kids were looking forward to it but the temperature had to be around 50 degrees in there, and the pool was even colder, the water was murky and again, just not clean. The hot tub was cemented up and the gym was not accessible either. They said the belt on the treadmills were broken, but you couldn't have access to the weights either. I just wouldn't trust the pictures. It was very disappointing for a Country Inn & Suites.
