Vielleicht doch lieber ein anderes Hotel das nächste Mal

Gefallen hat uns die Lage, wir waren zum Ramadanfest dort und alles war schön geschmückt auf den Strassen. Viele Menschen waren unterwegs, es war überall viel los, aber alles höflich und freundlich! Mit der MRT bis Paya Lebar ist man in 10 min Fußweg am Hotel.

Cons:

Nicht gefallen hat uns die Zimmerausstattung, die Möbel sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, teilweise kaputt. Es gab ohnehin nur wenige Möbel, ein Nachtschrank, ein Stuhl ( defekt!), ein Tisch, das Bett! Wir hatten vergleichbare Zimmer mit sehr viel mehr Komfort zum gleichen Preis ein paar Tage zuvor.
Und: leider kann man das Fenster nicht öffnen, ganz großer Nachteil!!!!

Erlebnisreich und entspannend
Pros:

Im letzten Jahr habe ich(Frau Janiel) 14 Tage im Tristar verbracht. Deshalb fiel die Wahl dieses Jahr zu zweit, leicht dieses Jahr hier wieder zu buchen. Nach wie vor ist es das
eines der besten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältniss für Singapur, wo ein 12m2 Zimmer ohne Fenster
oft deutlich mehr kostet. Durch das Alter des Hotels bedingt sind die Zimmer noch sehr
großzügig, haben alle Fenster und ein Highlight für den Preis ist der große Pool, der oft wenig
besucht ist. Alles wird sauber gehalten und das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Besonders zu erwähnen ist Mr. Nico, Mrs Khiem und Mrs Samirah immer sehr zuvorkommend alle
Wünsche des Gastes erfüllten. Aufgrund des Alters des Hotels darf man keine
durchgestylten und perfekt eingerichteten Zimmer erwarten, dafür verströmt es einen gewissen
Charme und die Zimmer überzeugen durch ihre Größe. Wenn man das mag, ist man hier richtig.
Ich komme gerne wieder und empfehle dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter. Übrigens vom
angeblichen Rotlichtmilieu ist nichts zu spüren.
Herzlichen Dank an das Personal des Hotels für die gute Betreuung.

Well kept hotel with a kind of colonial charm
Excellent sheets with a silky feel!
Exceptionnal outdoor pool with much room around for sunlounge chairs. All under the surveillance of staff from 07:00 to - 19:00
Breakfast essentials provided (instant 3 to 1 coffee mix)

Pros:

Hotel czysty i zadbany, choć lata świetności ma za sobą. Sporo miejsca w pokoju (jak na Singapur). Na dole coś ala food court z różnorodnym jedzeniem, gdzie jedzą głównie miejscowi, co dodaje klimatu. Stacja metra ok 10 min pieszo. Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzenia. Basen jest ok, korzystaliśmy. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Na plus osobny kranik z wodą filtrowaną do picia w łazience.
Pracownicy Sarinah i Desmond bardzo mili i pomocni.
